Installation Requirements

1. Power Source: Requires either Power over Ethernet injector or switch (IEEE 802.3af, 6.5W consumption) or 12V DC adaptor with RCM certification for Australian 240V mains 2. Network Cable: Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet cable with solid copper core, maximum 100 metres length, outdoor-rated UV-resistant cable required for external cable runs 3. Mounting Surface: Solid brick, concrete, or timber surface capable of supporting 600-gram camera weight, or plasterboard with spring toggle anchors rated for 5 kilograms minimum 4. Storage Device: Compatible HiLook NVR with built-in PoE switch for plug-and-play operation or third-party NVR supporting ONVIF protocol for local recording capability 5. Coastal Limitation: Not suitable for installations within 2 kilometres of ocean due to lack of anti-corrosion protection, salt spray causes premature housing degradation

1. Download the HiLookVision app from Apple App Store or Google Play Store and create your account with secure password meeting minimum complexity requirements 2. Connect camera to network via Ethernet cable and PoE power, wait 2 minutes for boot sequence, then locate camera IP address using SADP tool 3. Access camera web interface through browser, create strong administrator password, enable Platform Access for remote viewing, and generate verification code for mobile app pairing 4. Configure motion detection zones covering monitored areas, enable Human and Vehicle Detection, adjust sensitivity to 50-60, and activate notification preferences within camera settings

What is your return policy?

You have 30 days from the day you receive your order to request a change-of-mind return. Items must be unopened, factory-sealed and in resalable condition. A 15% restocking fee applies and return postage is at your cost. Faulty or incorrectly supplied items are different: we cover the return shipping and refund or replace at no charge.
