What the NVR-104MH-C-4P is

The HiLook NVR-104MH-C-4P is an entry-level 4-channel PoE network video recorder for homes, shops and small offices that want a simple, reliable system.

Four built-in PoE ports power and connect cameras over a single cable each, so setup is largely plug-and-play.

It records IP cameras up to 8MP, decodes 1 channel at 8MP or 4 channels at 1080p, and uses H.265+ compression to keep storage and bandwidth down.

A 4K HDMI output (with simultaneous VGA) drives a monitor, 1-channel Motion Detection 2.0 adds basic human and vehicle filtering, and a two-way audio port lets you talk through a compatible camera.

It connects to third-party cameras over ONVIF and RTSP, and to Hik-Connect for phone viewing.

A single SATA bay takes one surveillance hard drive for continuous recording; the recorder is supplied without a drive, so you choose the capacity.
