About Dahua ANPR Cameras

Dahua ANPR cameras run deep-learning license plate recognition entirely on-device — no server, no per-lane licensing fees, no extra hardware. The camera itself detects, captures, reads, and outputs plate numbers, vehicle type, brand, and colour over standard ONVIF and CGI protocols. With a 99% vehicle capture rate and the ability to recognise 147 vehicle logos across 12 colours, Dahua ANPR is deployed at parking entrances, community gates, toll stations, and commercial checkpoints in over 85 countries. The ITC413-PW4D series adds built-in red/blue strobe, a 2W speaker for custom audio deterrence, dual illuminator options (IR or warm light), and a 110,000-entry allowlist/blocklist — enough capacity for enterprise deployments. Browse below for every Dahua ANPR model Smarket carries — genuine ANZ-spec stock with a 3-year Australian warranty.

Why Choose Dahua ANPR Cameras?

Why choose Dahua ANPR cameras?- On-device deep-learning engine. Unlike server-dependent solutions, Dahua ANPR cameras process plate recognition locally. The camera reads and outputs metadata — plate number, vehicle type, brand, color, and direction — over standard ONVIF/CGI protocols. No external server licence fees, no extra hardware.- Dual illuminator technology (ITC413). Selectable 730nm IR or warm light — IR for covert surveillance, warm light for visible deterrence and colour night-time capture. Smart illumination adjusts intensity automatically based on ambient light.- All-in-one construction. Integrated junction box, bracket, illuminator, and lens — no separate housings or alignments to install. The ITC413 adds built-in red/blue strobe and 2W speaker for active deterrence when perimeter events are triggered.- 147 vehicle brand recognition. The camera recognises the manufacturer logo on the vehicle — not just the plate. Useful for verifying vehicle identity beyond the licence plate alone.- 110,000-entry allowlist/blocklist. Store up to 110,000 plate numbers in on-camera memory. Trigger relay outputs for barrier control or send alarm notifications on blocklist match — all processed at the camera, not the server.- Motorized vari-focal lens. Remote zoom and focus setup — adjust the field of view from a laptop at ground level. ITC413 offers two lens options: 2.7–12mm for short-range (3–8m) and 8–32mm for long-range (8–30m) capture.- 3-year Australian warranty. Smarket is an authorised Dahua distributor. Every ANPR camera is genuine ANZ-spec stock with full local warranty — no grey imports.

Common Questions about Dahua ANPR Cameras

What is the Dahua ANPR capture rate and recognition rate?

Under the recommended installation and lighting conditions, Dahua ANPR cameras achieve a vehicle capture rate ≥99% and plate recognition rate ≥96% (general) / ≥98% (European plates). Recognition rate depends on installation quality — correct mounting angle, height, and distance are the most critical factors.

How fast can vehicles be moving and still be captured?

The ITC413 with the 2.7–12mm lens captures vehicles up to 80 km/h. With the 8–32mm lens, capture speed extends to 120 km/h. The ITC215 is optimised for short-range access control with a maximum capture speed of 30 km/h. The ITC237 captures vehicles up to 60 km/h at long range.

Do Dahua ANPR cameras support Australian and New Zealand plates?

Yes. Dahua ANPR cameras support Oceania-region plate recognition including Australia and New Zealand under the baseline algorithm. Regional algorithms can be customised for specific plate formats — contact Smarket for pre-sales confirmation.

Can the camera recognise vehicles without a number plate?

Yes. All Dahua ANPR cameras include unlicensed vehicle detection. When a vehicle with no plate, a covered plate, or a severely damaged plate enters the detection zone, the camera triggers a capture event and logs the vehicle attributes (type, color, brand) even without a plate read.

How do I connect the camera to a barrier gate?

Dahua ANPR cameras include 2-channel relay output (2A 30VDC / 0.5A 125VAC) for direct connection to entry/exit barriers. RS-485 (half-duplex) and Wiegand (SHA-1 26-bit) interfaces allow integration with access control systems. The camera can operate barriers autonomously in allowlist mode without a backend server.

What is the maximum plate storage on the camera?

ITC413 cameras support up to 110,000 entries each for both the allowlist and blocklist. A built-in TF card slot accepts up to 256 GB for local storage with ANR (Automatic Network Replenishment).

What power options are available?

All Dahua ANPR cameras support both 12V DC input and PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at, Type 2, Class 4). Maximum power consumption is approximately 20W with all illuminators, speaker, and LED warning active. Power consumption under normal ANPR operation without additional lighting is typically under 6W.

Are these cameras IK10 and IP67 rated?

The ITC413 is IP67 (dust-tight and waterproof) and IK10 (vandal-proof, 20-joule impact). The ITC215 and ITC237 are IP67 rated but do not carry IK10. All models operate from -30°C to +65°C.

Before you buy

What customers ask most before ordering from this range — and how we deliver.

See all FAQs →

Will these cameras work with my existing NVR?

Most of our Hikvision and Dahua cameras support ONVIF, so they'll work with many third-party NVRs for basic recording. However, AI features like AcuSense, WizSense and active deterrence only work fully when the camera and NVR are the same brand. If you're adding to an existing system, email us the NVR model and we'll confirm compatibility before you buy.

Can I mix different cameras on one NVR, or add more later?

Yes. You can mix 6MP and 8MP, or ColorVu and AcuSense, on the same NVR as long as the total bandwidth stays within the NVR's rating (we check this for every kit we sell). To add cameras later, just plug them into a spare PoE port on the NVR — no reconfiguration needed. This is why we suggest an 8-channel NVR even if you start with 4 cameras.

How long does delivery take?

Order before 2pm (Sydney time) on a business day and in-stock items are dispatched the same day. Most orders arrive within 1–4 business days Australia-wide; remote and regional areas can take a little longer. You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order leaves the warehouse.

How much is shipping?

Standard shipping is free on all orders over $300 AUD, Australia-wide. Orders under $300 ship at a flat rate of $25, calculated at checkout. Tracking is included on every order.

What warranty do you offer?

All cameras, NVRs and DVRs come with a 3-year back-to-base manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship, in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Hard drives and accessories are covered as set out in our Warranty Policy.

What is your return policy?

You have 30 days from the day you receive your order to request a change-of-mind return. Items must be unopened, factory-sealed and in resalable condition. A 15% restocking fee applies and return postage is at your cost. Faulty or incorrectly supplied items are different: we cover the return shipping and refund or replace at no charge. Read the full Return & Refund Policy.

Is your Hikvision, Dahua, HiLook and TP-Link VIGI stock genuine Australian stock?

Yes, 100%. Every Hikvision, Dahua, HiLook and TP-Link VIGI product we sell is a genuine Australian-market model sourced through Australian supply chains — never grey imports. That means factory-sealed units, Australian-region firmware that works with the official apps out of the box, and a full 3-year local warranty.
