01Overview

What the NVR-104MH-K-4P-B is

The HiLook NVR-104MH-K/4P(B) is a Pro Series 4-channel PoE network video recorder that brings facial recognition to a small, affordable system. It suits homes, clinics and small offices that want smarter alerts than a basic recorder gives, with four built-in PoE ports for plug-and-play camera setup.

It records IP cameras at up to 8MP and runs deep-learning analytics: a face picture library of up to 20,000 images across 16 libraries with human face capture, comparison and search, plus 4-channel human and vehicle Motion Detection 2.0 to cut false alarms. Note that, per the datasheet, facial recognition and Motion Detection 2.0 cannot be enabled at the same time, so you choose the mode that suits the site. Smart search lets you find footage by area or event, and H.265+ compression keeps storage efficient.

A 4K HDMI output (with simultaneous VGA) drives a monitor, two-way audio lets you talk through a compatible camera, and a single SATA bay takes a drive up to 10TB. The recorder is supplied without a hard drive.

04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the NVR-104MH-K-4P-B

Face recognition on a small NVR

A 16-library, 20,000-face database brings access-style face capture and comparison to a compact 4-channel recorder, which the C-series does not offer.

Fewer false alarms

4-channel human and vehicle Motion Detection 2.0 filters out animals and moving branches, so alerts focus on what matters.

Plug-and-play PoE

Four built-in PoE ports power and connect each camera over one cable, so setup needs no separate switch or power supplies.

Find footage faster

Smart search by area or event, plus a 10TB-capable drive bay, makes reviewing and storing footage straightforward.

05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Homes wanting smart alerts

Recognise known faces at the door and get human/vehicle alerts across a small camera set.

Clinics and professional suites

Use face capture and comparison to help monitor entries and waiting areas.

Small retail and offices

Watch the entry and till with smarter detection than a basic recorder provides.

Workshops and garages

Protect a small site with a few cameras and event-based smart search.
