The Hikvision DS-1280ZJ-DM8 (factory code CB130T) is an aluminium-alloy junction box that mounts behind Hikvision turret and dome cameras in the 2CD23x3 and 2CD23x5 families. It gives you a sealed, tidy space to route and protect the network cable where it enters the camera.

What the DS-1280ZJ-DM8 is
The Hikvision DS-1280ZJ-DM8 is a camera junction box (Hikvision factory code CB130T) for the 2CD23x3 and 2CD23x5 turret and dome range. It lifts the camera off the surface and creates a protected cavity for the network cable, connector and any pigtail, so the join is hidden and shielded rather than exposed on the wall.
It is machined from aluminium alloy with a sprayed Hikvision-white finish and measures Ø126.7 mm by 35 mm at about 210 g. The bottom waterproof cover and side gland give you a choice of cable entry, which makes it easy to bring the cable up through a wall or along surface conduit.
Note: earlier copy listed this box for 21xx vandal domes. Hikvision's own bracket cross-reference lists the DS-1280ZJ-DM8 / CB130T against the 2CD23x3(5) range, so always confirm against your camera's mounting datasheet before ordering.

What's in the box
One DS-1280ZJ-DM8 junction box with bottom waterproof cover and side gland, plus mounting screws. The camera and network cable are not included.
Installation requirements
Fix the box to a flat wall or ceiling that can support at least three times the combined weight of the box and camera. Bring the network cable in through the base or side gland, seal the entry with the rubber grommet for outdoor use, then mount the camera onto the box. Add a bead of outdoor silicone around the base on exposed walls.
