The Hikvision DS-2CD2347G2-LU is a 4 MP ColorVu turret that keeps footage in vivid colour day and night.
Its 1/1.8" sensor and F1.0 aperture gather plenty of light, and a white supplement light fills in when natural light runs out, so faces, clothing and vehicle colours stay visible instead of fading to black and white.
AcuSense deep-learning analytics classify human and vehicle targets, so motion, line-crossing and intrusion alerts trigger on people and cars and ignore cats, rain and moving foliage.
A built-in microphone records audio alongside the video for extra context.
130 dB WDR balances bright skies against shaded entrances, which suits Australian driveways and doorways that sit half in sun and half in shadow.
It is a compact metal turret rated IP67 against dust and heavy rain, with a choice of 2.8 mm, 4 mm or 6 mm fixed lens to match a wide entrance or a longer driveway.
Power and network it over one PoE cable, or use 12 VDC, and record it to a Hikvision AcuSense NVR to keep the human and vehicle events searchable.
Note this model has a microphone for audio recording but no speaker, so it captures sound rather than offering two-way talk-back; choose the LSU/SL version if you want a strobe, siren and two-way audio.

Installation requirements
Mount it on a wall or eave above the area you want to cover and run a single network cable back to a PoE switch or NVR, or use a 12 VDC supply. Set the lighting and AcuSense rules in the software, and add it to a Hikvision AcuSense NVR for recording and event search.
