§ 01Overview

What the DS-7604NI-M1/4P is

The Hikvision DS-7604NI-M1/4P is a compact 4-channel network video recorder with 4 PoE ports built in and a 4TB surveillance drive pre-installed, ready to record straight away for homes and small businesses across Australia.

Each of the 4 PoE ports (802.3 af/at, up to 60W total) powers and connects a camera over one cable, and the recorder supports resolutions up to 32MP with 4-channel 8MP decoding. HDMI outputs up to 8K while VGA runs 1080p, and H.265+ compression with TLS stream encryption keeps footage compact and secure. It uses Hikvision's v4 interface, the same as the I-Series.

The included 4TB drive sits in a single SATA bay that accepts capacities up to 16TB, so you can upgrade later for longer retention. It works with Hikvision AcuSense, ColorVu, ANPR, thermal and people-counting cameras, with the smart detection handled at the camera.

§ 04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the DS-7604NI-M1/4P

Ready to record

A 4TB surveillance drive is included, so the recorder stores footage from day one without buying storage separately.

Simple PoE wiring

Four built-in PoE ports power and connect each camera over one Ethernet run, so a 4-camera system needs no separate switch or power supply.

8K-ready output

HDMI outputs up to 8K and the recorder accepts cameras up to 32MP, so it keeps detail on higher-resolution models.

Works with smart cameras

It supports Hikvision AcuSense and ColorVu cameras, which provide human/vehicle detection and full-colour night view at the camera end.

§ 05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Homes and granny flats

Cover doors, driveway and yard with up to 4 cameras on one tidy PoE recorder.

Small retail and cafes

Watch the counter, floor and storeroom with simple single-cable camera wiring.

Home offices and clinics

Record entries, reception and car park with high-resolution viewing on a single screen.

Workshops and sheds

Protect tools and stock with weatherproof cameras powered straight from the NVR.
