§ 01Overview

What the IPC-T262H-MU is

This HiLook 6MP kit is a ten-camera system on a 16-channel recorder — the right size for a larger home with several approaches, or a shop or workshop that needs broad coverage with headroom to expand.

Ten IPC-T262H-MU turret cameras run from a HiLook NVR-216MH-C/16P, which has sixteen built-in PoE ports, so every camera connects over a single network cable that carries power and data.

The IPC-T262H-MU is a dependable workhorse turret.

Each camera captures 6MP (3200 × 1800) detail by day and switches to 30 metre infrared at night, recording in black and white, with 120 dB true WDR to balance bright and dark areas in the same frame.

A built-in microphone records audio alongside the video, and AcuSense classifies people and vehicles so ten channels of alerts stay about what matters rather than animals, rain or moving foliage.

The IP67 metal housings suit exposed indoor and outdoor positions, and H.265+ keeps ten streams efficient on storage.

Two honest notes.

The recorder ships without a hard drive, but it has two SATA bays, so you can fit a surveillance-grade drive in each — for ten cameras recording continuously a 6TB drive is a sensible starting point, and each bay takes a drive up to 8TB.

And the turrets have a microphone but no speaker, so they record audio without two-way talk-back, and they have no strobe or siren; for active deterrence the T269 all-in-one cameras are the ones to look at.

With ten cameras on sixteen channels you also keep six channels spare for later.

This is genuine HiLook stock with a local 3-year warranty and support.

See it in action

What the IPC-T262H-MU features actually look like

Representative illustrations of how each key feature performs in a real scene.

6MP Ultra HD

6MP captures around three times the detail of 1080p. Plenty of resolution to zoom into a face or number plate part-way down the driveway and still read it clearly.

30m IR Night Vision

Built-in infrared lets the camera see in complete darkness up to around 30m — enough for a typical driveway, front yard or entrance. People and vehicles stay clear in black-and-white, brighter the closer they are.

False Alarm Reduction

Filtering helps separate real activity from harmless movement like rain, leaves or pets, so you get fewer pointless notifications and the alerts that matter stand out.

Human/Vehicle Detection

Smart detection focuses on people and vehicles and can ignore things like swaying branches, rain or small animals — helping cut down false alerts and making the right moments easier to find.

IP67 Weatherproof

Sealed against dust and water to IP67, built to keep working through rain, storms and harsh sun — suitable for fully outdoor mounting.

§ 04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the IPC-T262H-MU

Ten cameras with room to grow

Ten turret cameras on a 16-channel recorder cover a big property and still leave six channels spare.

Fewer false alerts

AcuSense human and vehicle classification keeps notifications about people and cars, not animals or weather.

Longer retention

Two HDD bays let you fit a drive in each, up to 8TB per bay, for more days of recording.

Simple PoE cabling

Sixteen built-in PoE ports mean one network cable per camera with no separate power supplies.

§ 05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Larger homes

Cover the front, drive, garage, yard, sides and rear with detail to spare and channels for more.

Small-to-medium business

Watch entries, floors, stockrooms and car parks across a wider site on one recorder.

Multi-building sites

Spread ten cameras across sheds, gates and approaches, with six channels free for later.

Staged rollouts

Install ten now and add cameras on the spare channels as the property or business changes.

§ 06Setup

Installation & setup

01

What's in the box

Ten IPC-T262H-MU turret cameras, one NVR-216MH-C/16P recorder and mounting accessories with guides. Hard drives, network cables and a monitor are supplied separately.

02

Installation requirements

Mount the ten turret cameras across the site, run one network cable from each to the NVR's PoE ports, and fit one or two surveillance-grade drives before recording. Set up in the HiLookVision app or on a monitor, enable AcuSense rules, and test each view and the night mode before relying on it.

§ 07Questions

Frequently asked about the IPC-T262H-MU

Q.01

Is a hard drive included in this kit?

No. The NVR-216MH-C/16P is supplied without a hard drive, but it has two SATA bays. Add a surveillance-grade WD Purple or Seagate Skyhawk; for ten cameras a 6TB drive is a sensible starting point, and each of the two bays takes a drive up to 8TB for longer retention.
Q.02

Do the cameras record in colour at night?

No. The IPC-T262H-MU uses 30 metre infrared at night and records in black and white, which is normal for an infrared AcuSense turret. If you want full colour at night, look at the T383H Pro full-colour night imaging kits or the T269 all-in-one colour cameras instead.
Q.03

Do the cameras have two-way audio or a siren?

They have a built-in microphone that records sound, but no speaker, so there is no talk-back, and they have no strobe or siren. For two-way audio and active deterrence, the T269 and T289 all-in-one camera kits are the ones to look at.
Q.04

How many more cameras can I add later?

This is a 16-channel recorder running ten cameras, so you have six spare channels for more HiLook or Hikvision IP cameras. Each extra camera connects to a spare PoE port over a single cable, which makes this kit a good choice if you expect to grow.
Q.05

How are the cameras powered and connected?

Over Power over Ethernet. The NVR-216MH-C/16P has sixteen built-in PoE ports, so each camera runs on a single network cable that carries both power and data straight to the recorder, with no separate power supplies for the ten included cameras.
Q.06

Does AcuSense cut down false alarms?

Yes. AcuSense classifies motion as human, vehicle or neither, so you can set the system to alert only on people and vehicles. Across ten cameras that makes a real difference to the number of nuisance notifications from animals, rain and moving foliage.
Q.07

Can I view the cameras on my phone?

Yes. Set up the free HiLookVision app and Hik-Connect for live view, playback and push notifications on your phone or computer. The recorder also gives a local 4K display over HDMI for an on-site monitor.

§ 09Bundles

Recommended packages

01

Add hard drives to record

This NVR ships without a hard drive, and it has two SATA bays. Add a surveillance-grade 2TB drive or 6TB drive sized to how long you want to keep footage; for ten cameras recording continuously a 6TB drive is a sensible starting point, and each of the two bays takes a drive up to 8TB.

04

Add matching cameras

Use the six spare channels for extra IPC-T262H-MU turret cameras.
