This HiLook 6MP kit pairs eight IPC-T269-MU/SL all-in-one colour-deterrence cameras with an 8-channel PoE NVR — active deterrence on every one of eight camera positions. Each camera stays in full colour at night with a built-in white light, and on a detected person or vehicle it can flash a red and blue strobe, sound an audio alarm and let you talk back through two-way audio. AcuSense keeps alerts relevant, the IP67 metal housings handle the weather, and the 8-port PoE recorder powers all eight cameras over a single cable each.

What the IPC-T269-MU/SL is

This HiLook 6MP kit is a full eight-camera active-deterrence system for a larger home or a small business.

Eight IPC-T269-MU/SL all-in-one cameras run from a HiLook NVR-108MH-C/8P, an 8-channel recorder with eight built-in PoE ports, so each camera connects over a single network cable that carries power and data.

Every camera in this kit is a deterrence camera.

Each IPC-T269-MU/SL stays in full colour at night using a built-in white light to about 30 metres, so you keep colour detail like clothing and vehicles around the clock.

When AcuSense classifies a person or a vehicle the camera can flash a red and blue strobe, sound an audio alarm and let you speak through it with two-way audio, so you can warn an intruder off in real time rather than just record them.

Because AcuSense filters the triggers to people and vehicles, the strobe and alarm are not set off by animals, rain or moving branches.

The IP67 metal housings suit outdoor use and H.265+ keeps the eight streams efficient.

Two honest notes.

The recorder ships without a hard drive, and full-colour recording across eight cameras fills storage faster than a basic setup — add a 6TB surveillance drive for a useful retention window, and the NVR takes a single drive up to 8TB.

And this kit uses all eight channels, so it is fully loaded; to add cameras later you would move to a larger recorder, and the full strobe and alarm linkage is set up through the HiLook NVR and the HiLookVision app.

What's in the box

Eight IPC-T269-MU/SL all-in-one cameras, one NVR-108MH-C/8P recorder and mounting accessories with guides. A hard drive, network cables and a monitor are supplied separately.

Installation requirements

Mount each camera over the approach you want, run one network cable from each to the NVR's PoE ports, and fit a surveillance-grade hard drive (6TB suggested) before recording. Set the deterrence zones, schedules and AcuSense rules in the HiLookVision app, and test each view and the night colour before relying on it.

Does this kit come with a hard drive?
No. The NVR-108MH-C/8P is supplied without a hard drive so you can choose your own storage. Because eight full-colour cameras use storage quickly, add a surveillance-grade 6TB drive for a useful retention window; the recorder takes a single drive up to 8TB. WD Purple and Seagate Skyhawk are good choices.

Do all eight cameras record in colour at night?
Yes. Every IPC-T269-MU/SL stays in full colour at night using its built-in white light to about 30 metres, so you keep colour detail across the whole system after dark rather than black-and-white infrared images.

How does the active deterrence work?
When AcuSense classifies a person or vehicle in an armed area, the camera can flash a red and blue strobe, sound an audio alarm and send you a push notification, and you can speak through the camera with two-way audio. Because the triggers are limited to people and vehicles, animals and weather do not set it off.

Can I add more cameras to this kit?
This is an 8-channel recorder with eight cameras, so all ports are in use and the kit is fully loaded. To add more cameras you would move up to a 16-channel HiLook NVR, so plan your camera count before buying if you expect to grow.

Do I need a HiLook NVR for the deterrence features to work?
The included HiLook NVR and the free HiLookVision app give you the full strobe, audio-alarm and smart-event linkage, plus remote viewing and push alerts. The cameras can be added to other ONVIF recorders, but the complete active-deterrence and alarm management is designed around HiLook hardware and the app.

Will the strobe and audio annoy my neighbours?
It only fires when AcuSense detects a person or vehicle in an area you arm, so it stays quiet the rest of the time. You can also set schedules and zones in the app, so the deterrence is active only where and when you want it.
