This HiLook 8MP 4K kit pairs eight IPC-T289H-MU/SL all-in-one colour-deterrence cameras with an 8-channel PoE NVR — evidence-grade 4K detail with active deterrence on every one of eight positions. Each 8MP camera uses full-colour night imaging to switch between infrared and warm white light for colour footage when it is needed, and on a detected person or vehicle it can flash a red and blue strobe, sound an alarm and talk back through two-way audio. AcuSense keeps alerts relevant, the IP67 metal housings handle the weather, and the 8-port PoE recorder powers all eight cameras over a single cable each.

What the IPC-T289H-MU/SL is

This HiLook 8MP kit is a full eight-camera, 4K active-deterrence system for sites that want both evidence-grade detail and the ability to warn an intruder off across the whole property.

Eight IPC-T289H-MU/SL all-in-one cameras run from a HiLook NVR-108MH-C/8P, an 8-channel recorder with eight built-in PoE ports, so each camera connects over a single network cable that carries power and data.

At 8MP (3840 × 2160) the T289H captures the fine detail that makes faces, clothing and number plates usable as evidence, and you can zoom into recorded 4K footage and keep clarity.

Each camera uses full-colour night imaging, switching between infrared and a warm white light so you get colour at night when it is needed.

As an all-in-one deterrence camera it also has a red and blue strobe, a customisable and two-way audio through a built-in microphone array and speaker, so on an AcuSense person or vehicle detection it can flash, sound and let you speak in real time.

The IP67 metal housings suit outdoor use and H.265+ keeps the 4K streams efficient.

The recorder ships without a hard drive, and 4K across eight cameras uses storage quickly — add a 6TB surveillance drive for a useful retention window, and the NVR takes a single drive up to 8TB.

And this kit uses all eight channels, so it is fully loaded; to add more cameras you would move to a 16-channel recorder, and the full strobe and alarm linkage is set up through the HiLook NVR and the HiLookVision app.

What's in the box

Eight IPC-T289H-MU/SL 8MP cameras, one NVR-108MH-C/8P recorder and mounting accessories with guides. A hard drive, network cables and a monitor are supplied separately.

Installation requirements

Mount each camera over the approach you want, run one network cable from each to the NVR's PoE ports, and fit a 6TB or larger surveillance drive before recording. Set up in the HiLookVision app or on a monitor, configure the deterrence zones and AcuSense rules, and test each view and the night colour before relying on it.

Is a hard drive included with this 8MP kit?
No. The NVR-108MH-C/8P is supplied without a hard drive. Because 4K across eight cameras uses storage quickly, add a surveillance-grade 6TB drive for a useful retention window; the recorder takes a single drive up to 8TB. WD Purple and Seagate Skyhawk are good choices.

What does 8MP 4K give me over the 6MP kits?
More detail. At 3840 x 2160 the T289H captures sharper faces, clothing and number plates, and you can zoom further into recorded footage and keep it usable as evidence. The trade-off is that 4K fills storage faster, so size your hard drive accordingly.

How does the night vision and deterrence work?
Each camera uses full-colour night imaging to switch between infrared and a warm white light for colour footage when needed.
