SKU: IPC-T262H-MU
Description

This HiLook 6MP kit pairs five IPC-T262H-MU AcuSense turret cameras with an 8-channel PoE NVR — a dependable starter system that leaves plenty of room to grow. Each turret delivers 6MP detail, 30 metre infrared night vision and a built-in microphone, behind an IP67 weatherproof metal housing. AcuSense human and vehicle detection keeps alerts relevant, and the 8-port PoE recorder powers all five cameras over a single cable each and leaves three channels free for later.

§ 01Overview

What the IPC-T262H-MU is

This HiLook 6MP kit is a five-camera system on an 8-channel recorder — a dependable starting point that leaves three channels free to add cameras as the site grows.

Five IPC-T262H-MU turret cameras run from a HiLook NVR-108MH-C/8P, which has eight built-in PoE ports, so each camera connects over a single network cable that carries power and data.

The IPC-T262H-MU is a workhorse turret.

Each camera captures 6MP detail by day and switches to 30 metre infrared at night in black and white, with 120 dB true WDR to handle bright and dark areas in the same frame.

A built-in microphone records audio alongside the video, and AcuSense classifies people and vehicles so the system can alert you only on what matters, cutting nuisance notifications from animals, rain and moving foliage.

The IP67 metal housings suit indoor and outdoor positions and H.265+ keeps recordings efficient.

Two honest notes.

The recorder ships without a hard drive, so add a surveillance-grade drive sized to five cameras and your retention; a 4TB drive is a sensible minimum and the NVR takes a single drive up to 8TB.

And the turrets have a microphone but no speaker, so they record audio without talk-back; if you want a siren and strobe for active deterrence, the T269 all-in-one cameras are the ones to look at.

This is genuine HiLook stock with a local 3-year warranty and support.

See it in action

What the IPC-T262H-MU features actually look like

Representative illustrations of how each key feature performs in a real scene.

6MP Ultra HD

6MP captures around three times the detail of 1080p. Plenty of resolution to zoom into a face or number plate part-way down the driveway and still read it clearly.

30m IR Night Vision

Built-in infrared lets the camera see in complete darkness up to around 30m — enough for a typical driveway, front yard or entrance. People and vehicles stay clear in black-and-white, brighter the closer they are.

False Alarm Reduction

Filtering helps separate real activity from harmless movement like rain, leaves or pets, so you get fewer pointless notifications and the alerts that matter stand out.

Human/Vehicle Detection

Smart detection focuses on people and vehicles and can ignore things like swaying branches, rain or small animals — helping cut down false alerts and making the right moments easier to find.

IP67 Weatherproof

Sealed against dust and water to IP67, built to keep working through rain, storms and harsh sun — suitable for fully outdoor mounting.

§ 04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the IPC-T262H-MU

Plenty of room to grow

Five cameras on an 8-channel recorder leave three spare channels for adding cameras later.

Dependable AcuSense coverage

6MP turret cameras give clean day footage and 30 m infrared at night, with smart alerts.

Fewer false alerts

AcuSense human and vehicle classification keeps notifications about people and cars, not animals or weather.

Simple PoE cabling

Eight built-in PoE ports mean one network cable per camera with no separate power supplies.

§ 05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Homes planning to expand

Start with five cameras and add more on the three spare channels as needs change.

Shops and offices

Cover entries, floors and stock areas now, with room for extra cameras later.

Staged installations

Begin with the key positions and grow the system on the same recorder over time.

Mixed future upgrades

Add T269 deterrence or T363H colour-night cameras to the spare channels down the track.

§ 06Setup

Installation & setup

01

What's in the box

Five IPC-T262H-MU turret cameras, one NVR-108MH-C/8P recorder and mounting accessories with guides. A hard drive, network cables and a monitor are supplied separately.

02

Installation requirements

Mount each turret over the area you want, run one network cable from each to the NVR's PoE ports, and fit a surveillance-grade hard drive before recording. Set up in the HiLookVision app or on a monitor, enable AcuSense rules, and test each view and the night mode before relying on it.

§ 07Questions

Frequently asked about the IPC-T262H-MU

Q.01

Is a hard drive included with this kit?

No. The NVR-108MH-C/8P is supplied without a hard drive so you can match storage to your needs. Add a surveillance-grade WD Purple or Seagate Skyhawk; a 4TB drive is a sensible minimum for five cameras recording continuously, and the recorder takes a single drive up to 8TB.
Q.02

How many more cameras can I add?

This is an 8-channel recorder running five cameras, so you have three spare channels for more HiLook or Hikvision IP cameras. Each extra camera connects to a spare PoE port over a single cable, which makes this a good choice if you expect to expand.
Q.03

Do the cameras record in colour at night?

No. The IPC-T262H-MU uses 30 metre infrared at night and records in black and white, which is normal for an infrared AcuSense turret. If you want full colour at night, look at the T363H full-colour night imaging turrets or the T269 all-in-one colour-deterrence cameras.
Q.04

Do the cameras have two-way audio?

They have a built-in microphone that records sound, but no speaker, so there is no talk-back. For two-way audio and active deterrence, the T269 and T289 all-in-one camera kits are the ones to look at.
Q.05

How are the cameras powered and viewed remotely?

Each camera runs on a single PoE cable from the recorder's eight built-in ports. For remote access, set up the free HiLookVision app and Hik-Connect for live view, playback and push notifications on your phone or computer.
Q.06

Does AcuSense reduce false alarms?

Yes. AcuSense classifies motion as human, vehicle or neither, so you can set the system to alert only on people and vehicles. That cuts the nuisance notifications that animals, rain and moving foliage would otherwise trigger.
Q.07

Are the cameras suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. The IPC-T262H-MU is IP67-rated for rain and dust with 30 metre night vision, so it suits exposed indoor and outdoor positions. The kit is genuine HiLook stock with a local 3-year warranty and support.

§ 09Bundles

Recommended packages

01

Add a hard drive to record

This NVR ships without a hard drive, so add a surveillance-grade 2TB drive or 6TB drive sized to how long you want to keep footage; for five cameras recording continuously a 4TB drive is a sensible minimum, and the recorder takes a single drive up to 8TB.

04

Add matching cameras

Use the three spare channels for extra IPC-T262H-MU turret cameras.
