01Overview

What the KIT-HDBW3667E-2CAM-NVR4104-NOHDD is

Two white HDBW3667E-AS-IL-ANZ 6MP dome cameras and one NVR4104HS-P-AI/ANZ four-channel PoE recorder form a small system for two separate viewpoints, such as an entrance and a side passage. The base kit contains two 2.8 mm cameras and one recorder. A hard drive and network cabling are not included.

Each camera records up to 3288 × 1850 pixels and combines a built-in microphone with SMD 4.0 human/vehicle classification and tripwire/intrusion detection. The 2.8 mm fixed lens provides a 110° horizontal field of view. Its metal dome housing carries IP67 weather protection and an IK10 impact-resistance rating, useful where the camera may be within reach.

Smart Dual Light uses infrared for black-and-white night viewing and can switch on warm light when a target enters the monitored area, capturing the event in colour. Dahua rates both illuminators up to 30 m. This is an illumination range, not a guarantee of identifying a face or number plate at that distance; positioning and scene conditions still matter.

The recorder connects and powers the two cameras through its PoE ports, leaving two channels and two physical PoE ports unused. Each camera is rated at up to 7.5 W on PoE, so the supplied pair totals 15 W before cable losses. The recorder provides four IEEE 802.3af/at ports and 80 Mbps incoming bandwidth. Add a compatible surveillance SATA hard drive to use NVR recording and playback.

What the KIT-HDBW3667E-2CAM-NVR4104-NOHDD features actually look like

Representative illustrations of how each key feature performs in a real scene.

6MP Ultra HD

6MP captures around three times the detail of 1080p. Plenty of resolution to zoom into a face or number plate part-way down the driveway and still read it clearly.

30m IR Night Vision

Built-in infrared lets the camera see in complete darkness up to around 30m — enough for a typical driveway, front yard or entrance. People and vehicles stay clear in black-and-white, brighter the closer they are.

Dual-Light Night Vision

Combines infrared with a warm spotlight so it can light a scene in colour at night rather than relying on black-and-white alone — clearer, more useful footage when there's something to see.

Full Color Night Vision

Unlike plain black-and-white night vision, this camera can capture colour after dark — so you can pick out the actual colour of a car, a jacket or a bag, detail that grey infrared footage loses.

False Alarm Reduction

Filtering helps separate real activity from harmless movement like rain, leaves or pets, so you get fewer pointless notifications and the alerts that matter stand out.

Human/Vehicle Detection

Smart detection focuses on people and vehicles and can ignore things like swaying branches, rain or small animals — helping cut down false alerts and making the right moments easier to find.

IP67 Weatherproof

Sealed against dust and water to IP67, built to keep working through rain, storms and harsh sun — suitable for fully outdoor mounting.

04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the KIT-HDBW3667E-2CAM-NVR4104-NOHDD

Two monitored viewpoints

Use a dedicated camera for each area rather than asking one wide view to cover every approach. The supplied pair leaves two recorder channels available for compatible future cameras.

A dome housing where impact resistance matters

The HDBW camera combines IP67 protection with an IK10-rated metal dome. Check the mounting surface, viewing angle and access for cleaning before installation.

Colour when the scene calls for it

Smart Dual Light can switch from infrared to warm-light colour capture for detected activity, rather than requiring the warm light to stay on continuously.

Choose recording storage to suit the job

No HDD is included in the base kit. A 2TB surveillance drive is an optional starting point for this two-camera system; choose it in the hard-drive selector if required. Recording duration depends on bitrate, recording mode and schedule, so check your retention needs before choosing capacity.

05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Indoor warehouse entrances and stock areas

Use one dome at a warehouse entry and the other over a stock-handling area or aisle. The compact, IK10-rated housing suits positions where accidental knocks or tampering are concerns. Check sightlines around racks and keep the dome accessible for cleaning; a dusty warehouse still needs regular cover maintenance.

Shop entrances and sheltered outdoor access

The IP67-rated cameras can monitor outdoor entrances and side access as well as indoor areas. Aim away from direct sunlight, strong lamps and nearby reflective surfaces. Dust, fingerprints or water marks on a dome can scatter illumination and cause night-time glare; clean the cover and test the view after dark.

A two-camera starting point

Start with two dome positions and assess future coverage before filling the remaining channels. Additional cameras must fit the recorder channel, bandwidth and PoE limits. Keep the recorder indoors in a dry, ventilated location.

08Questions

Frequently asked about the KIT-HDBW3667E-2CAM-NVR4104-NOHDD

Q.01

Does this kit include a hard drive, and can I add 2TB?

No. The base kit contains two HDBW3667E-AS-IL-ANZ cameras and one NVR4104HS-P-AI/ANZ recorder, without a hard drive. No HDD remains the default selection. You can add the optional 2TB surveillance drive in the hard-drive selector; its price is added to the base kit. Initialise the drive and set the recording schedule after installation. Retention depends on your recording settings; a microSD card is not supplied.
Q.02

Will the warm lights stay on all night?

Not necessarily. In Smart Dual Light operation, infrared is normally used at night; the warm light switches on when a target enters the monitored area and turns off when the target leaves. The camera also supports automatic and manual illumination control. Test the selected mode and detection zones at the installation site.
Q.03

Can the recorder power both cameras, and can I add more later?

Yes. Each supplied camera supports IEEE 802.3af PoE and is rated at up to 7.5 W on PoE, giving 15 W for the pair before cable losses. The recorder has four IEEE 802.3af/at PoE ports. Two ports and two recording channels remain unused; check the total PoE load, incoming bandwidth and compatibility before adding cameras.
Q.04

How does the HDBW dome differ from the HDW3667 turret?

These are separate models with different housings and mounting arrangements. Both manufacturer datasheets specify 6MP Smart Dual Light imaging and a 110° horizontal view for the 2.8 mm lens. The HDBW3667E dome is explicitly rated IP67 and IK10; choose the body and mounting accessories for the actual installation rather than treating the model names as interchangeable.
Q.05

What is the difference between Quick Pick and AcuPick?

Quick Pick helps narrow down recorded SMD human/vehicle events to a target of interest, reducing manual checking. AcuPick uses a selected person or vehicle as a target for appearance-based searching across compatible recordings, and requires a compatible camera, recorder and firmware combination. This kit uses the NVR4104 Quick Pick configuration; AcuPick is not a feature promised for this supplied recorder. For a straightforward two-camera installation, ordinary event playback and Quick Pick may be sufficient. Consider AcuPick when you regularly need more extensive target searches, rather than as a requirement for basic recording.
Q.06

Can these dome cameras be used outdoors or in a warehouse?

Yes. The HDBW3667E cameras are IP67-rated for indoor/outdoor installation and IK10-rated for impact resistance. They suit indoor warehouse entrances, aisles and stock areas when positioned for the required detail. Outdoors, avoid aiming into strong light or very close reflective surfaces, weatherproof exposed cable joints and allow access for cleaning. Dust, fingerprints and water marks on the dome can scatter light and cause glare, particularly with infrared at night; check both daytime and night-time images. Keep the NVR indoors in a dry, ventilated location.
