The Dahua 2-camera 6MP Smart Dual Light kit is a complete, ready-to-record surveillance system for Australian homes, units and small offices.
It pairs 2 x DH-IPC-HDW3667EM-S-IL-ANZ turret cameras with a 4-channel DHI-NVR4104HS-P WizSense PoE NVR and a 4TB surveillance hard drive, pre-installed so it works out of the box.
Each camera sees in full colour after dark using warm-white LEDs (up to 30 m), or switches to infrared black-and-white (also 30 m) when you would rather stay discreet.
SMD 4.0 deep-learning detection alarms on people and vehicles while ignoring possums, rain and moving branches, and a built-in microphone captures on-site sound.
The IP67 metal turret bodies are rated -40 C to 60 C for full Australian outdoor exposure.

Installation & setup
What's in the box
2 x DH-IPC-HDW3667EM-S-IL-ANZ 6 MP Smart Dual Light turret cameras, 1 x DHI-NVR4104HS-P 4-channel WizSense PoE NVR, and 1 x 4 TB surveillance hard drive (pre-installed), plus mounting screws and quick-start guides. Network cable (Cat5e/Cat6) is not included.
Installation requirements
Run one Cat5e or Cat6 cable from each camera to the NVR's built-in PoE ports (PoE 802.3af); the single cable carries power and video. Connect the NVR to a TV or monitor by HDMI and to your router for remote viewing in the Dahua DMSS app. Mount each camera on a wall or under an eave - the turret tilts to aim. Keep cable runs under about 100 m per camera, and add a PFA139 junction box for a sealed cable entry on exposed mounts.

Do the cameras record in colour at night?
Yes, through Smart Dual Light. Warm-white LEDs light the scene in full colour up to 30 m, so you capture clothing and vehicle colour rather than a grey infrared image. You can also switch each camera to infrared black-and-white (also to 30 m) when you would rather stay discreet.

Can I stop the white light staying on all night?
Yes. Each camera's illuminator can be set to infrared-only, automatic, or event-triggered in the camera settings or the Dahua DMSS app, so the white light only comes on when a person or vehicle is detected instead of lighting the area all night.
Q.03
Which lens do these cameras use, 2.8 mm or 3.6 mm?
The cameras ship with the 2.8 mm fixed lens, giving a wide view of about 110 degrees that suits general coverage of entries, driveways and yards. A 3.6 mm option with a narrower view of about 86 degrees is available for more reach. Dahua's DORI figures for the 2.8 mm put detection at about 85 m, recognition at about 17 m and identification at about 9 m.

Does this kit support AcuPick search?
No. AcuPick needs a Dahua NVR5-series recorder. This kit's WizSense NVR is an NVR4-series model, which provides Quick Pick instead. Quick Pick still lets you retrieve human and vehicle events from recorded SMD footage, along with SMD Plus, face detection and perimeter protection. If you specifically need AcuPick, ask us about pairing the cameras with an NVR5-series recorder.

Can I talk to visitors through the cameras?
No. Each camera has a built-in microphone that records sound alongside the video, but there is no speaker, so there is no two-way talk-back. Use it to capture audio evidence, not to speak to people at the door.

How are the cameras powered?
Over a single network cable. Run one Cat5e or Cat6 cable from each camera back to the NVR's built-in PoE ports, which supply both power and video (PoE 802.3af). No separate power supply is needed at each camera.

Is a hard drive included?
Yes. This kit ships with a 4 TB surveillance-grade hard drive pre-installed, ready for the 2 included 6 MP cameras. For longer retention you can fit a larger surveillance HDD within the NVR's supported capacity.

Will the cameras work with a non-Dahua NVR later?
They support ONVIF (Profile S, T and G), so a third-party ONVIF recorder can pull the video stream. The smart features such as SMD 4.0, Quick Pick, face and perimeter detection work fully only with the Dahua WizSense NVR included in this kit.
