§ 01Overview

What the DH-PFA136 is

The Dahua DH-PFA136 is a camera junction box for Dahua's turret and eyeball range.

It seats flat behind the camera and creates a protected cavity for the network cable, connector and any pigtail, so the join is hidden and shielded rather than exposed on the wall.

Some older listings call this part a wall mount bracket, but it is a junction box: it does not extend the camera off the wall on an arm.

It is aluminium alloy with a white finish, measures Ø110.0 mm by 34.0 mm at about 0.19 kg, uses an M20 (G1/2 inch) gland thread and is rated to a 1.0 kg load.

That sits it between the compact PFA139 and the larger PFA137 in Dahua's turret and eyeball box family.

Dahua does not publish a formal IP rating for this box; it is a weather-resistant aluminium housing that keeps the cable join dry once the entry is sealed.

As compatibility is set by the camera's mounting pattern, confirm the DH-PFA136 is listed under Accessory Selection on your camera's datasheet before ordering.

A black DH-AC-PFA136-B version is also stocked.

§ 04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the DH-PFA136

Genuine Dahua fit

This is the factory DH-PFA136, designed to seat under Dahua turret and eyeball bodies so the camera base sits flush and the screw pattern lines up the first time.

Protects the connection

The sealed aluminium cavity keeps the network cable, RJ45 and any pigtail out of the weather and out of sight, which is where most outdoor camera faults start.

Correctly specified

We list it as what it is — a junction box, not a wall arm — so you order the right part for seating a camera flat against the wall.

Durable in Australian conditions

Aluminium alloy with a white finish resists UV, heat and coastal corrosion far better than plastic boxes.

§ 05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Outdoor turret and eyeball installs

Seat a Dahua turret or eyeball on the box under an eave or on a wall with the cable join sealed inside.

Rendered or uneven walls

The box gives a flat mounting face and hides any gap or oversized cable hole behind the camera.

Tidy cable entries

Bring the cable straight up through the wall into the base of the box for a clean finish with no exposed lead.

Retrofit tidy-ups

Cover an existing cable penetration when upgrading to a new turret or eyeball camera.

§ 06Setup

Installation & setup

01

What's in the box

One DH-PFA136 junction box with mounting screws, anchors and a wrench. The camera and network cable are not included.

02

Installation requirements

Fix the box to a flat wall or ceiling able to support several times the combined box and camera weight, using suitable anchors in masonry. Route the cable through the M20 entry, seal it for outdoor use, then mount the camera onto the box. Add outdoor silicone around the base on exposed walls.

§ 07Questions

Frequently asked about the DH-PFA136

Q.01

Is the DH-PFA136 a junction box or a wall mount bracket?

It is a junction box. It seats flat behind a turret or eyeball camera to seal and hide the cable join. Some older product listings labelled it a wall mount bracket, but it does not extend the camera off the wall on an arm. If you need to angle a camera off a wall, look at the DH-PFB204W wall mount bracket instead.
Q.02

Which cameras does the DH-PFA136 fit?

It is a junction box for Dahua turret and eyeball cameras, listed under Accessory Selection on the datasheets of the models it suits. Because compatibility is set by the camera's mounting pattern, check that line for your exact model, or send us the model and we will confirm.
Q.03

Is the DH-PFA136 weatherproof outdoors?

It is an aluminium-alloy housing built for weather-resistant outdoor mounting. Dahua does not publish a formal IP rating for it, so seal the cable entry at the M20 gland and add outdoor silicone where the base meets the wall for exposed installs. For a box with a stated IP66 rating, see the DH-PFA130-E.
Q.04

What are the dimensions and load rating?

It measures Ø110.0 mm by 34.0 mm, weighs about 0.19 kg and is rated to a 1.0 kg load, which is well above the weight of the turret and eyeball cameras it suits.
Q.05

Does it come in black as well as white?

Yes. The standard finish is white, and a black version (DH-AC-PFA136-B) is also stocked for installs where a darker box blends in better.
Q.06

Is the camera included?

No. This is the junction box only. It is a mounting accessory you buy alongside the camera it suits.
Q.07

How does it compare with the DH-PFA137 and DH-PFA139?

All three are turret and eyeball junction boxes. The DH-PFA139 is the compact Ø108 mm box, the DH-PFA136 is the Ø110 mm box, and the DH-PFA137 is the larger Ø122 mm box. Use whichever your camera's datasheet lists under Accessory Selection.
