What the PFA137 is

The Dahua DH-PFA137 is the workhorse junction box in Dahua's accessory line-up, designed for the company's turret, eyeball and many dome cameras.

It seats behind the camera and gives a sealed cavity for the network cable, connector and any pigtail, so the join is protected and hidden rather than left exposed on the wall.

It is aluminium alloy with a white finish, measures Ø122.0 mm by 34.2 mm at about 0.24 kg, uses an M20 (G1/2 inch) gland thread and is rated to a 1.0 kg load.

It is the box most Dahua HDW-series turret and eyeball cameras call up under Accessory Selection, which is why installers keep them on the van.

Dahua does not publish a formal IP rating for this box; it is a weather-resistant aluminium housing that keeps the cable join dry once the entry is sealed.

Compatibility is set by the camera's mounting pattern, so confirm the DH-PFA137 is listed on your camera's datasheet before ordering.

A black DH-PFA137-B version is also made for darker installs.

What's in the box

One DH-PFA137 junction box with an M20 water joint, three M4x12 screws, three ST4x25 screws, three plastic anchors and a wrench. The camera and network cable are not included.

Installation requirements

Fix the box to a flat wall or ceiling able to support several times the combined box and camera weight, using the supplied anchors in masonry. Route the cable through the M20 entry, seal it with the water joint for outdoor use, then mount the camera onto the box. Add outdoor silicone around the base on exposed walls.

If you specifically need a stated IP66 rating, the DH-PFA130-E is the box to choose.
