Bosch RFRC-STR2 RADION Wireless Receiver for Solution Panels
The Bosch RFRC-STR2 is the RADION receiver ST, the wireless receiver that puts RADION and DSRF devices on a Streamline Bus Solution panel: motion detectors, door contacts, keyfobs, panic buttons and repeaters on 433.42 MHz, wired to the panel on three terminals, and the replacement for the older RF3212E receiver.

01Overview
What the RFRC-STR2 is
The Bosch RFRC-STR2 is how a hardwired Solution system takes on wireless devices without changing the panel. It is enabled in the same programming location as the RF3212E it replaces, on a Solution 6000 at Menu 3-5-0 option 4, Bosch Serial Receiver, so an older site swaps the receiver and keeps its programming. The rotary dial on the back must be set to 3.
Reception is built for reliability rather than raw range. Dual internal antennas give spatial and polar diversity, the receiver reports signal strength and margin for each device, and it detects and reports jamming when ambient noise sits above 70 percent of full-scale signal strength for 30 out of 60 seconds. Cover and wall tamper detection sends a tamper signal if the receiver is pulled from its base or off the wall, and an RFRP repeater extends coverage where a large building needs it.
The device list is long. RADION detectors, contacts, keyfobs, panic buttons, glass-break and smoke detectors, the RFUN universal transmitter and the RFBT bill trap are supported, along with DSRF devices from the RF110E to the RF3503E, so both the current and the previous wireless generation learn in.
Installation is a three-wire run. The R, B and Y terminals connect to the panel over 0.65 mm (22 AWG) to 1.3 mm (16 AWG) cable up to 300 m away, the receiver runs on 12 VDC at no more than 100 mA, and the sliding self-locking enclosure has an integrated bubble level and a lift-gate terminal block. It is an indoor unit rated for -10 °C to +55 °C and up to 93% non-condensing humidity, measuring 139.7 mm x 209.6 mm x 31.8 mm.
Radio range depends on the building, and objects inside it including people, so receiver and repeater positions are tested on site rather than assumed. The receiver holds RCM approval for Australia, EN 50131 Grade 2, and a 36 Months supplier warranty.
