The Bosch HCT-4UL is a premium 4-button keyfob that lets the household arm and disarm a Bosch Solution 3000 alarm from outside, without going to a keypad. It is a RADION wireless remote with a quality stainless-steel finish and a sliding cover that prevents accidental presses and helps the battery last.

Two of the buttons handle the alarm: arm in Away or Stay and disarm (on/off), an easy one-touch way to turn the system on and off remotely. The other two buttons are programmable for relay functions, such as opening a sliding gate or a garage door (this needs an additional relay and setup on the panel). A built-in Panic function is available by pressing buttons together. Note the receiver does not respond to rapid presses, so wait a couple of seconds between presses.

The HCT-4UL works only with the Bosch B810 RADION wireless receiver at 433.42MHz, which makes it a Solution 3000 accessory. It will not program to panels using WE800V receivers, and it does not work with the Solution 2000, which has no B810 receiver. It runs on a CR2032 battery for about two years. It is supplied as the keyfob; the B810 receiver is sold separately.

What it is

A RADION wireless keyfob that works only with the Bosch B810 receiver on a Solution 3000. It is not for WE800V receivers and not for the Solution 2000.

Receiver needed

The keyfob enrols to the B810 RADION receiver (sold separately). Without a B810 the panel cannot use it.

Programming

The installer enrols the keyfob to the panel, assigns Arm/Disarm to two buttons and programs the two spare buttons to relays if a gate or door is to be controlled.

Use

In Australia a Bosch alarm should be installed by a licensed security installer, who wires the device to the panel, programs it and tests the system. Wait a couple of seconds between presses, as the receiver does not respond to rapid taps; the CR2032 battery lasts about two years.
