Installation Requirements
1. Power Source: Mains power outlet required for the NVR unit; cameras are powered directly via PoE cabling from the recorder. 2. Network Cabling: Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet cables required to connect each camera to the NVR (running through roof cavity or walls). 3. Mounting Surface: Sturdy timber, brick, or concrete surface required for mounting cameras; suitable for eaves or vertical walls.
App Setup
1. Download the DMSS app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to access your system remotely. 2. Create an account and scan the P2P QR code found in the NVR's network settings to add the device. 3. Configure push notifications and playback recorded footage directly from your smartphone or tablet anywhere in Australia.
Ordered a Dahua system and it arrived in 2 days which was good. The installer they sent was professional, explained how everything works and got it all set up properly. Night vision is really clear. Overall happy with the service and product quality.
