About All 4 Camera Kits

4-camera CCTV kits are the most popular configuration for typical Australian 3-bedroom homes — covering the four key entry points (front door, back door, driveway, side gate) with one complete plug-and-play system. Smarket carries 4-camera kits from all four major brands with prices ranging from $399 (HiLook 6MP) to $1,200+ (Hikvision 4K with ColorVu) — the widest selection in Australia.

Every 4-camera kit includes IP cameras, an NVR with built-in 4-port PoE switch, and a pre-installed surveillance hard drive. Most 4-camera kits ship with an 8-channel NVR (rather than 4-channel) so you have 4 spare PoE ports for future expansion — add up to 4 more cameras over time without replacing the NVR. PoE single-cable installation means most homeowners complete a 4-camera install in 3-4 hours with basic tools.

Browse 4-camera kits by brand: Hikvision 4-camera kits (AcuSense AI standard), Dahua 4-camera kits (WizSense + TiOC variants), HiLook 4-camera kits (from $399), or TP-Link VIGI 4-camera kits.

What's Included in All 4 Camera Kits

4-camera kits available by brand:

Hikvision 4 Camera Kits — AcuSense AI, 6MP and 4K options. ColorVu variants available.
Dahua 4 Camera Kits — WizSense AI, TiOC active deterrence variants, 6MP and 4K.
HiLook 4 Camera Kits — from $399. Hikvision-compatible budget tier.
TP-Link VIGI 4 Camera Kits — networking-brand reliability, zero subscription.

Or step up to 6-camera kits for extended residential or 8-camera kits for full perimeter coverage. For 4K detail across all positions, see all 4K CCTV kits.

Comparing All 4 Camera Kits Models

Choosing the Right 4-Camera Kit

Need lowest entry price? → HiLook 4-camera 6MP kit from $399. Hikvision-compatible — you can later upgrade individual camera positions to Hikvision premium models (ColorVu / Smart Hybrid Light) without replacing the NVR.

Need active deterrence (siren + strobe)? → Dahua TiOC 4-camera kit. Built-in siren, red-blue strobe, and voice warning trigger automatically on AI intruder detection. Unique to Dahua in the AU market.

Need premium features (ColorVu / Smart Hybrid Light)? → Hikvision 4-camera AcuSense kit with 4K ColorVu variants. Full-colour night vision down to 0.0005 lux.

Need ecosystem independence / zero subscription? → TP-Link VIGI 4-camera kit. ONVIF open standard, networking-brand reliability.

All four brands deliver professional-grade hardware. The decision is AI tier, feature ceiling, and price — not core hardware quality.

Why Choose All 4 Camera Kits?

Right-Sized for 3-Bedroom Australian Homes
Four cameras cover the four key positions of a typical Australian 3-bedroom home: front door, back door, driveway, side gate. The most popular kit size at Smarket — proven by real customer purchase data. For larger homes with backyard pools or detached garages, 6 or 8-camera kits add coverage.

Built-in Expansion Headroom
Most 4-camera kits at Smarket ship with an 8-channel NVR (not 4-channel) — providing 4 spare PoE ports for future camera additions. Start with 4 cameras at the key entry points, add coverage to backyard / pool / shed over time without replacing the NVR. Add HiLook or Hikvision cameras (cross-compatible) to spare ports.

From $399 — Lowest Complete-System Entry Price
HiLook 4-camera 6MP kits start at $399 — among the lowest complete-system prices in Australia for current-generation IP cameras with smart detection, NVR with built-in PoE, and pre-installed surveillance HDD. Few professional-grade systems match this price point at this specification level.

Common Questions about All 4 Camera Kits

Is 4 cameras enough for an Australian 3-bedroom home?

Yes — 4 cameras cover the four main entry points of a typical 3-bedroom Australian home: front door, back door, driveway, and side gate. This is the most-purchased kit configuration at Smarket. For larger homes with backyards, swimming pools, or detached garages requiring dedicated coverage, 6 or 8-camera kits add the necessary positions. Choose a 4-camera kit with an 8-channel NVR for future expansion headroom.

How long does a 4-camera kit installation take?

Most homeowners complete a 4-camera CCTV kit installation in 3-4 hours with a drill, ladder, and basic tools. PoE single-cable installation means one Ethernet cable per camera back to the NVR — no separate power supplies, no electrician required. Smarket provides online installation guides and email support for first-time DIY installers.

Which brand 4-camera kit is best?

For lowest entry price: HiLook 4-camera 6MP kit ($399). For Hikvision-ecosystem premium features: Hikvision 4-camera AcuSense kit (from ~$749) — choose 4K variant for licence plate capture. For active deterrence: Dahua 4-camera TiOC kit (siren + strobe + voice on AI detection). For ecosystem independence and zero subscription: TP-Link VIGI 4-camera kit. All four brands deliver professional-grade hardware; the differentiators are AI tier, feature ceiling, and price.

What's included in a 4-camera kit at Smarket?

Every 4-camera kit includes: 4 IP cameras (typically turret form factor for residential), an NVR with built-in 4-port PoE (most kits ship with 8-channel for expansion), a pre-installed surveillance-grade hard drive (typically 2TB or 4TB), mounting screws and templates, and a quick-start guide. Cat6 Ethernet cables are sold separately to allow custom run lengths.

Before you buy

What customers ask most before ordering from this range — and how we deliver.

See all FAQs →

How many cameras do I need?

Walk around your property and list every approach: front door, driveway, side gates, back yard, garage. Each one is a camera. A typical house needs 4; a corner block or larger property needs 6–8. Buy an NVR with spare channels — an 8-channel NVR with 4 cameras lets you add more later without replacing anything.

Should I choose 6MP or 8MP (4K)?

8MP (3840 × 2160) gives you noticeably more detail when you zoom into a face or number plate, and with H.265+ compression the extra storage cost is small. 6MP (3072 × 2048) is a good value choice for close-range areas like a front door or side passage. If the camera covers a driveway, street frontage or anything more than about 10 metres away, go 8MP.

How long does delivery take?

Order before 2pm (Sydney time) on a business day and in-stock items are dispatched the same day. Most orders arrive within 1–4 business days Australia-wide; remote and regional areas can take a little longer. You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order leaves the warehouse.

How much is shipping?

Standard shipping is free on all orders over $300 AUD, Australia-wide. Orders under $300 ship at a flat rate of $25, calculated at checkout. Tracking is included on every order.

What warranty do you offer?

All cameras, NVRs and DVRs come with a 3-year back-to-base manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship, in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Hard drives and accessories are covered as set out in our Warranty Policy.

What is your return policy?

You have 30 days from the day you receive your order to request a change-of-mind return. Items must be unopened, factory-sealed and in resalable condition. A 15% restocking fee applies and return postage is at your cost. Faulty or incorrectly supplied items are different: we cover the return shipping and refund or replace at no charge. Read the full Return & Refund Policy.

Do you offer installation?

We can connect you with licensed installers in Sydney and Melbourne. Installation typically starts from around $200 per camera depending on cable runs and site conditions. Email sales@smarket.com.au with your address and camera count for a quote.
