What the IPC-T269-MU/SL is

This HiLook 6-camera kit puts six IPC-T269-MU/SL all-in-one active-deterrence turrets on the 8-channel NVR-108MH-C/8P recorder.

It is the larger active-deterrence option: rather than just recording an intruder, each camera flashes a red and blue strobe, sounds an audio alarm and lets you talk through two-way audio when AcuSense AI confirms a person or vehicle, so you can warn someone off across a bigger property.

All six cameras see in full colour around the clock.

Smart dual-light keeps discreet infrared on a quiet scene and switches to white light for full-colour footage to about 30 metres on motion, capturing the colour of clothing and vehicles after dark.

120dB WDR manages bright backlight and the 6MP sensors keep detail sharp across every approach.

The 8-channel NVR-108MH-C/8P has eight built-in PoE ports, so six are used and two are spare for more cameras later on a single cable each.

It outputs 4K over HDMI with independent VGA, supports cameras up to 8MP, and has one SATA bay - the kit ships without a hard drive, so add a surveillance-grade drive sized for six colour cameras.

The free HiLookVision app handles live view, playback, two-way talk and deterrence control.

Installation & setup

What's in the box

6 x HiLook turret cameras, 1 x HiLook NVR-108MH-C/8P 8CH PoE NVR, mounting screw packs and quick start guides. The NVR has a single SATA bay (surveillance-grade hard drive sold separately).

Cabling and power

Each camera runs on one Cat5e/6 cable to a PoE port on the NVR (up to about 100m), so there are no separate plug packs at the cameras. Mount each unit on a solid wall or eave with a clear view of the area.

Add a hard drive first

Fit a surveillance-grade hard drive into the NVR's SATA bay before recording - the kit ships without a drive. Choose the capacity for how many days of footage you want to keep.

Set up and view

In Australia these kits are commonly installed by a licensed security installer or a competent DIY owner: run a single Cat5e/6 cable from each camera to a PoE port on the recorder, mount the cameras, then run the on-screen wizard. Set a strong password and Australian time zone, then add the system to the free HiLookVision app for live and recorded viewing on your phone.
