Description

This HiLook by Hikvision kit uses four 6MP IPC-T269-MU/SL all-in-one active-deterrence cameras with a 4-channel PoE NVR. Each camera flashes a red and blue strobe, sounds an audio alarm and lets you speak through two-way audio when its AI sees a person or vehicle, and it stays in full colour all night with white-light supplement.

What the IPC-T269-MU/SL is

This HiLook 4-camera kit is built around the IPC-T269-MU/SL, a 6MP all-in-one active-deterrence turret, with the 4-channel NVR-104MH-C/4P recorder.

Unlike a standard camera that only records an intruder, the T269-MU/SL acts: when AcuSense AI confirms a person or vehicle, it flashes a red and blue strobe, plays an audio warning and lets you talk through built-in two-way audio, helping warn someone off before anything happens.

It also sees in full colour around the clock.

A smart dual-light system keeps discreet infrared on a quiet scene and switches to white light for full-colour footage to about 30 metres the moment motion is detected, so you capture the colour of clothing or a vehicle, not just a grey shape.

120dB WDR handles bright backlight and the 6MP sensor keeps detail sharp.

The NVR-104MH-C/4P connects each camera on a single PoE cable, outputs 4K over HDMI, and supports cameras up to 8MP.

It has one SATA bay and ships without a hard drive, so add a surveillance-grade drive for the recording time you need.

The free HiLookVision app handles live view, playback, two-way talk and strobe control, and the IP67 metal cameras are made for outdoor Australian use.

Installation & setup

What's in the box

4 x HiLook turret cameras, 1 x HiLook NVR-104MH-C/4P 4CH PoE NVR, mounting screw packs and quick start guides. The NVR has a single SATA bay (surveillance-grade hard drive sold separately).

Cabling and power

Each camera runs on one Cat5e/6 cable to a PoE port on the NVR (up to about 100m), so there are no separate plug packs at the cameras. Mount each unit on a solid wall or eave with a clear view of the area.

Add a hard drive first

Fit a surveillance-grade hard drive into the NVR's SATA bay before recording - the kit ships without a drive. Choose the capacity for how many days of footage you want to keep.

Set up and view

In Australia these kits are commonly installed by a licensed security installer or a competent DIY owner: run a single Cat5e/6 cable from each camera to a PoE port on the recorder, mount the cameras, then run the on-screen wizard. Set a strong password and Australian time zone, then add the system to the free HiLookVision app for live and recorded viewing on your phone.

When AcuSense AI confirms a person or vehicle in a set zone, the camera flashes its red and blue strobe and sounds an audio alarm. You can also speak a live warning through the app.
