Installation & setup

  1. Power over PoE or 12V DC

    Connect to an 802.3af PoE switch over a single cable, or provide a 12V DC supply. At under 8.5W the camera fits a standard PoE budget.

  2. Mount on wall, ceiling or eave

    Fix the metal dome and, for surface cabling or angled positions, add a Dahua junction box such as the PFA130-E to seal connectors.

  3. Set the lens remotely

    After mounting, set the motorised 2.7-13.5mm zoom and focus from the NVR or web interface to frame the scene without returning to the camera.

  4. Configure IVS rules

    Set tripwire and intrusion zones and face detection to suit the scene, allowing for structures or terrain that create blind spots.
