Description
The Dahua DHI-ARC3000H-FW2 is the wireless hub at the centre of a Dahua AirShield alarm system. It manages your wireless detectors, sirens, keypads and keyfobs, decides when to raise an alarm and notifies you through the free DMSS app. It connects three ways — Ethernet, Wi-Fi and 4G cellular — so it keeps reporting even if one network drops, and a built-in rechargeable battery keeps it running through a power cut. Wireless peripherals are required and sold separately.

The Dahua DHI-ARC3000H-FW2 is the control hub of a Dahua AirShield wireless alarm system. Every detector, siren, keypad and keyfob talks to the hub, and the hub decides when to raise an alarm, sounds the sirens and pushes a notification to your phone through the free DMSS app. It scales well beyond a single room, supporting up to 150 wireless peripherals — including up to 6 sirens, 64 keyfobs, 8 keypads, 8 PIR cameras and 4 repeaters — so it suits anything from a flat to a large home or small business.
Staying connected is its strong point. It links three ways — wired Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and 4G cellular with dual SIM — so if the broadband drops it can keep reporting over mobile data, and automatic network replenishment fills in any messages missed during an outage. A built-in rechargeable lithium battery keeps the system alive for around 12 hours through a power cut. To its wireless peripherals it uses an encrypted two-way link with AES128 and frequency hopping at up to 2,000 m in open space, and it can link IP cameras for alarm video verification so you see what triggered an alarm in the app rather than guessing.

What's in the box

Installation requirements
Place the hub centrally for good wireless coverage, power it from the supplied 12 V DC adapter, and connect it to your network by Ethernet or Wi-Fi (add a data SIM if you want 4G backup). Add it to the DMSS app, then enrol your detectors, sirens and arming devices. Set entry and exit delays and test each device's signal before arming. Professional installation is recommended for monitored systems.
