§ 01Overview

What the ICP-SOL3-P is

The Bosch ICP-SOL3-P is the control panel PCB at the heart of a Solution 3000 alarm system. It is a 16-zone panel built for homes and small businesses, taking a mix of hardwired and wireless detectors and letting you split the system into two separate areas - for example a house and a granny flat, or a shop and a back office - each armed and disarmed on its own.

It is designed to grow with the site. It supports up to 16 wireless devices through a Bosch RADION or WE800EV2 receiver, holds 33 codes (one installer plus 32 user codes), and offers STAY and AWAY arming. Adding a B426-M Ethernet module or a B450-M mobile module brings IP or cellular reporting and the Bosch RSC+ app, so the system can be armed, disarmed and monitored from a phone. A choice of keypads - LCD icon, alphanumeric text and touchscreen - lets you match the user interface to the site.

One important point: this listing is the control panel PCB only. To make a complete, working system you also need a keypad, a metal enclosure such as the MW250, an 18 V AC plug pack, a 12 V backup battery and your detectors and siren. The board runs from an 18 V AC supply (about 1.3 A) with a 12 V 6.5 Ah sealed battery for backup. It is genuine Bosch stock, sold in Australia and New Zealand, with local 3-year warranty. Bosch alarm systems must be installed by a licensed security installer.

§ 04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the ICP-SOL3-P

Room to grow

16 zones, two areas and up to 16 wireless devices let one panel cover a home or small business and expand later.

Wired or wireless

Mix hardwired detectors with RADION wireless devices and keyfobs to suit the building and the budget.

Phone control when you want it

Add a B426-M or B450-M module for IP or mobile reporting and the RSC+ app.

Installer-standard board

A genuine Bosch Solution 3000 PCB that local installers know well, with a 3-year warranty.

§ 05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Home alarm upgrade

Replace an ageing panel with a 16-zone Solution 3000 board and keep or add wired and wireless detectors.

House plus granny flat

Use the two-area partitioning so a main home and a separate flat or office arm independently.

Small business

Cover a shop or office with up to 16 zones and individual user codes for staff.

Adding app control

Pair the board with a B426-M module so the owner can arm, disarm and get alerts from the RSC+ app.

§ 06Setup

Installation & setup

01

What's in the box

The Solution 3000 control panel PCB (ICP-SOL3-P) only. A keypad, enclosure, plug pack, backup battery, detectors and siren are not included and are added to complete the system.

02

Installation requirements

A licensed installer mounts the board in a metal enclosure (such as the MW250), connects a keypad over the RS485 LAN, wires the detectors to the zones, and fits the siren and outputs. Power it from an 18 V AC plug pack (about 1.3 A) with a 12 V 6.5 Ah backup battery, and add a B426-M or B450-M module if app control or monitored reporting is required. Keep it indoors within 0 to 45 degrees C.

§ 07Questions

Frequently asked about the ICP-SOL3-P

Q.01

Is this a complete alarm or just the board?

This is the Solution 3000 control panel PCB only. To make a working system you add a keypad such as the IUI-SOL-ICON, a metal enclosure like the MW250, an 18 V AC plug pack, a 12 V backup battery, and your detectors and siren. If you would rather buy it all together, a ready-made Solution 3000 kit bundles these parts.
Q.02

How many zones and areas does it support?

It has 16 fully programmable zones and can be partitioned into two separate areas that arm and disarm independently. Each zone can be a wired or wireless detector.
Q.03

Can I use wireless detectors and keyfobs?

Yes. With a Bosch RADION or WE800EV2 receiver the panel supports up to 16 wireless devices, so you can mix wireless detectors and keyfobs with hardwired zones.
Q.04

Does it work with a phone app?

Yes, with an add-on module. Fitting a B426-M Ethernet module or a B450-M mobile module gives IP or cellular reporting and the Bosch RSC+ app for arming, disarming and notifications from your phone.
Q.05

How many user codes are there?

The panel holds 33 codes - one installer code and 32 user codes - so each family member or staff member can have their own PIN.
Q.06

What power supply and battery does it need?

It runs from an 18 V AC plug pack rated about 1.3 A, with a 12 V 6.5 Ah sealed lead-acid battery for backup during a mains failure. Both are added separately when you build the system.
Q.07

Can I install it myself?

Bosch alarm systems must be installed and programmed by a licensed security installer. The Solution 3000 is widely used by Australian installers, so it is easy to have set up and serviced.

§ 09Bundles
