The Bosch WE800EV2KIT is the keyfob arming kit for a Solution 2000, 3000 or 4000 panel: a WE800EV2 receiver that plugs onto the panel board, with HCT-4R keyfobs already learned to it, so the household arms, disarms and raises a panic alarm from the driveway instead of the keypad.

01Overview
What the BoschKeyFobsReceiverKit is
The Bosch WE800EV2KIT turns a keypad-only alarm into one that arms and disarms from a keyring. The receiver is described for the Solution 8XX and 2000, 3000 and 4000 series, and its two on-board relays can also switch up to two external devices, so a fob can work a gate as well as the alarm.
The kit is set up before it leaves the box. The supplied fobs are already learned to the receiver, with both relays set for momentary operation, and every HCT-4 keyfob works with every version of the receiver, so a household that grows simply adds fobs. Memory holds a maximum of 21 fobs in EEPROM.
Radio security is code hopping on 433.92 MHz, with a superheterodyne AM ASK receiver, and each fob shows a blue LED when a button is pressed. Holding buttons 1 and 2 together for 2 seconds raises a panic alarm, or buttons 3 and 4 when DIP switch 2 is on; a keyfob can raise a panic alarm but not a duress alarm.
Installation is a plug onto the panel. The receiver takes 5VDC from the panel's 3-pin connector and draws 6mA on standby or 45mA with both relays operating, while the relay terminal accepts 9 - 15VDC. Each relay is SPDT rated at 1 Amp at 12VDC, and the first learned fob sets how the buttons drive them: button 1 pulses both outputs, button 4 toggles both, and buttons 2 and 3 toggle one and pulse the other. In panel programming the receiver type is set to WE800EV2 with value 2 at location 395.
Two things to know before ordering. On a Solution 4000 this receiver and the B810 RADION receiver cannot be fitted together, and only one WE800EV2 goes on a Solution 2000 or 3000. Fobs cannot be deleted one at a time either: a lost fob means the receiver memory is wiped and the remaining fobs learned again. The receiver is made in Australia by Circuit Level Electronics and carries a 36 Months supplier warranty.
