§ 01Overview

What the Bosch2000-1 is

The Bosch Solution 2000 Base Kit is the wired control core of a Bosch alarm, built for Australian homes, apartments and small retail or office sites. It is a foundation you build on, supplied without detectors so you can choose and add the motion sensors and reed switches your floor plan needs.

The kit includes the 8-zone Solution 2000 panel, a blue-backlit Icon keypad, an 18V plug-pack with a 12V 7Ah backup battery, an internal 120dB piezo siren and an external siren with strobe, all housed in a metal enclosure with a tamper switch. The panel supports eight fully programmable wired zones across two areas with 32 user codes and a 256-event log.

The Solution 2000 is a wired system and does not support wireless detectors; if you need wireless or up to 16 zones, the Solution 3000 is the upgrade. You can control the system from the Icon keypad or keyfobs, and add the B426-M IP module for free arm, disarm and alarm push notifications through the Bosch RSC+ app.

§ 04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the Bosch2000-1

Proven Bosch platform

The Solution 2000 is a widely installed Australian alarm panel with strong local support, parts and keypad options, so it is easy to service and expand later.

A core you build on

This base kit gives you the panel, keypad, power and sirens. You add the exact detectors your home needs rather than paying for sensors that do not suit your layout.

Free app, no subscription

Add the B426-M IP module and the free Bosch RSC+ app arms, disarms and sends push notifications with no monthly fee.

Backed locally

Supplied by an authorised Bosch dealer with a 3-year warranty and Australia-wide support.

§ 05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Family homes

An 8-zone wired panel suits most houses, covering entry doors, hallways and living areas once you add motion detectors and reed switches.

Small retail and offices

Two areas and 32 user codes let a small business arm front-of-house and storeroom separately and give staff their own codes.

New builds and renovations

Run cabling while walls are open and the wired Solution 2000 gives reliable, interference-free zones for years.

§ 06Setup

Installation & setup

01

02

Professional install

In Australia these systems are installed by a licensed security installer, who mounts and programs the panel, wires the zones with the supplied 3k3 and 6k8 end-of-line resistors, and sets up user codes.

03

Add detectors

Wire in PIR, Quad or TriTech motion detectors and reed switches to suit your floor plan; this kit does not include them.
