§ 01Overview

What the Bosch3000-1 is

The Bosch Solution 3000 Base Kit is the control core of Bosch's mid-range alarm, built for Australian homes and small to medium businesses that need more than the Solution 2000 offers. It supports up to 16 fully programmable zones and, unlike the Solution 2000, takes both wired and wireless detectors.

The kit includes the Solution 3000 panel, a blue-backlit Icon keypad, an 18V plug-pack with a 12V 7Ah battery, an internal 120dB piezo siren and an external siren with strobe, in a metal enclosure with a tamper switch. It is supplied without detectors, so you choose the wired or wireless sensors that suit your floor plan.

Wireless detectors, reed switches and keyfobs connect through the Bosch B810 RADION receiver, which makes the Solution 3000 a good fit for heritage buildings, existing homes or anywhere cabling is difficult. Control the system from the Icon keypad or keyfobs, and add the B426-M IP module for free arm, disarm and push notifications through the Bosch RSC+ app.

§ 04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the Bosch3000-1

More zones than the 2000

Up to 16 fully programmable zones suit larger homes and small to medium businesses.

Wired or wireless

Unlike the Solution 2000, the 3000 takes wireless detectors and remotes through the B810 receiver, ideal for heritage or hard-to-cable sites.

Free app, no subscription

Add the B426-M IP module and the free Bosch RSC+ app arms, disarms and sends push notifications with no monthly fee.

Backed locally

Authorised Bosch dealer supply with a 3-year warranty and Australia-wide support.

§ 05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Larger homes

Up to 16 zones cover more doors, rooms and outbuildings than an 8-zone panel.

Heritage or finished buildings

Wireless detectors via the B810 receiver avoid running cable through walls that cannot be opened up.

Small to medium businesses

More zones, multiple areas and user codes suit shops, clinics and offices.

§ 06Setup

Installation & setup

01

In the box

Solution 3000 panel, Icon keypad (IUI-SOL-ICON), 18V transformer, 12V 7Ah battery, internal + external sirens with strobe, metal enclosure with tamper, 8x 3k3 + 8x 6k8 resistors and a manual. No detectors are included.

02

Professional install

In Australia these systems are installed by a licensed security installer, who mounts and programs the panel, wires the zones with the supplied 3k3 and 6k8 end-of-line resistors, and sets up user codes.

03

Add wired or wireless detectors

Wire detectors directly, or add the B810 RADION receiver to use Bosch wireless detectors, reed switches and remotes.

04

Monitoring

Self-monitoring through the free Bosch RSC+ app sends arm, disarm and alarm push notifications to your phone with no subscription. Back-to-base monitoring is optional and arranged through a licensed monitoring provider.

§ 07Questions

Frequently asked about the Bosch3000-1

Q.01

Does the Solution 3000 base kit include detectors?

No. The base kit includes the panel, Icon keypad, transformer, battery and sirens, but no detectors. You add wired or wireless sensors to suit your layout.
Q.02

How many zones does the Solution 3000 support?

Up to 16 fully programmable zones, more than the 8-zone Solution 2000.
Q.03

Can the Solution 3000 use wireless detectors?

Yes. With the Bosch B810 RADION receiver it supports wireless detectors, reed switches and remotes, which is ideal for heritage or hard-to-cable sites.
Q.04

How is it different from the Solution 2000?

The Solution 3000 supports more zones (up to 16 instead of 8) and takes both wired and wireless detectors, while the Solution 2000 is wired-only with 8 zones.

Can I control it from my phone?

Yes, once you add the B426-M IP module. The free Bosch RSC+ app then arms, disarms and sends push notifications with no subscription.

No. Self-monitoring through the RSC+ app is free. Back-to-base monitoring is optional through a licensed provider.
Q.07

Can I install it myself?

In Australia these systems are installed and programmed by a licensed security installer, which also keeps insurers happy.
