What the IUI-SOL-ICON is

The Bosch IUI-SOL-ICON is the LCD Icon keypad for Bosch Solution 2000 and 3000 alarm systems — the panel by the door that the household or staff use every day. It arms and disarms the system with a PIN code, supports STAY and AWAY arming so you can secure the perimeter while you are home or the whole property when you leave, and shows the system status through clear backlit icons. Single-button arming keeps the routine quick.

It is the icon version of the Solution keypad range, designed for simple, reliable daily operation. The backlight keeps the keys and status icons readable in a dark hallway or in daylight, and it works alongside the rest of a Solution system — detectors, contacts and additional keypads or areas.

One practical note: the keypad is the control interface and is not the internet connection. To get smartphone control and push notifications through the Bosch RSC+ app, the panel also needs a communication module such as the B426-M Ethernet module. If you prefer an alphanumeric display or a touchscreen, the Solution range also includes Text and touchscreen keypads. This is genuine Bosch stock with local warranty and support.

Installation requirements

Mount the keypad on an indoor wall near the entrance and wire it to the data bus of your Bosch Solution 2000 or 3000 panel. Address the keypad and program user codes through the panel. For smartphone control and push notifications, also fit a communication module such as the B426-M. Professional installation is recommended for a monitored system.
