01Overview
What the ICP-SOL-ENC is
The Bosch ICP-SOL-ENC is bought for one of two reasons: a bare panel board needs a home, or an existing system has run out of room. It takes one control panel PCB plus up to six SDI2 modules and a WE800EV2 receiver, or, with a Solution 6000 board fitted, two small expander modules or one CM705B universal module. It also holds up to two batteries, which is what usually forces the upgrade from a smaller box.
The details are installer details. Standoff locations are provided for mounting supporting modules, the mounting plate lifts out to make wiring easier, cable entry points and punch-outs are spread around the box for cable or antenna routing, and the front door is removable, lockable and Bosch branded. It does not include a panel, a plug pack or a battery, and no tamper switch is fitted, although it is compatible with several. It suits residential and commercial burglary installations, and comes with a hardware pack holding the control panel tamper bracket, an earth cable and screws. The steel box measures 374 mm x 322 mm x 87 mm, works from 0 °C to 45 °C at 10% to 95% non-condensing humidity, and carries a 36 Months warranty.
