§ 01Overview

What the IPC3626LE-ADF28K-WP is

The Uniview IPC3626LE-ADF28K-WP answers the complaint people have about night footage: that everything turns grey and the detail that mattered, a jacket colour or a car, is gone. A 1/1.8" sensor and an F1.0 lens hold colour down to 0.0003lux, and ColorHunter with Wise-ISP tunes the image for it, so a porch light or a street light may be all it needs. The warm light, reaching 30m under automatic or manual control, is there for the approach with no light at all.

Resolution is 6MP at 3072*2048 and 25fps, dropping to 1080P at 30fps if smoother movement suits the scene better. 120dB WDR handles the gap between a dark doorway and a bright sky, HLC pulls back headlights, BLC lifts a backlit subject, and digital defog with 2D and 3D noise reduction cleans up haze and grain.

The 2.8mm lens sees 110.4° across and 60.5° vertically, which suits a door, a porch or a shopfront rather than a long driveway. Uniview rates it to detect at 43.4m, observe at 17.4m, recognise at 8.7m and identify at 4.3m, and identification is the number to plan a doorway camera around.

Detection runs on the camera: cross line and intrusion based on human body detection, plus motion, ultra motion, tampering and audio detection. There is a built-in microphone but no speaker, no two-way audio and no alarm input or output, so it records sound and cannot talk back.

Storage is a microSD card of up to 512GB, with ANR to a recorder and NAS over NFS. It runs on PoE 802.3af or 12V DC at no more than 2.8W, with 4KV surge protection. The metal and plastic housing measures Φ118x106mm, weighs 0.48kg, is rated IP67 and works from -30°C to 60°C. It speaks ONVIF Profile S, G and T for third-party recorders, and the warranty is 24 Months.

What the IPC3626LE-ADF28K-WP features actually look like

Representative illustrations of how each key feature performs in a real scene.

6MP Ultra HD

6MP captures around three times the detail of 1080p. Plenty of resolution to zoom into a face or number plate part-way down the driveway and still read it clearly.

Full Color Night Vision

Unlike plain black-and-white night vision, this camera can capture colour after dark — so you can pick out the actual colour of a car, a jacket or a bag, detail that grey infrared footage loses.

Human/Vehicle Detection

Smart detection focuses on people and vehicles and can ignore things like swaying branches, rain or small animals — helping cut down false alerts and making the right moments easier to find.

False Alarm Reduction

Filtering helps separate real activity from harmless movement like rain, leaves or pets, so you get fewer pointless notifications and the alerts that matter stand out.

IP67 Weatherproof

Sealed against dust and water to IP67, built to keep working through rain, storms and harsh sun — suitable for fully outdoor mounting.

§ 04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the IPC3626LE-ADF28K-WP

Night footage that keeps its colour

The Uniview IPC3626LE-ADF28K-WP pairs a 1/1.8" sensor with an F1.0 lens and ColorHunter processing, holding colour down to 0.0003lux. A grey infrared picture tells you someone was there; a colour one tells you what they were wearing.

Light only where it is needed

The warm light reaches 30m and runs on automatic or manual control. It fills in the approach that has no street or porch light, rather than lighting the whole yard all night.

Faces survive a bright background

120dB WDR holds the gap between a dark porch and the sky behind it, HLC pulls back headlights and BLC lifts a subject standing against the light. These are the three situations that ruin a doorway shot.

Alerts for people, not for weather

Cross line and intrusion detection are based on human body detection, so a swaying branch or a moving shadow is less likely to raise an alarm. Motion, ultra motion, tampering and audio detection run alongside.

Recording survives a dropout

A microSD card of up to 512GB sits in the camera, and ANR caches to it when the link to the recorder fails, transferring the footage back afterwards. A camera on its own can record to that card alone.

One cable, and it lives outside

PoE 802.3af carries power and video on the same run at no more than 2.8W. The IP67 metal and plastic housing is rated from -30°C to 60°C, with 4KV surge protection.

§ 05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Front door or porch of an Australian home

The Uniview IPC3626LE-ADF28K-WP under an eave puts a caller inside its 4.3m identify distance as they reach the door, and the 110.4° view holds the path either side. A porch light may be enough to keep the picture in colour, with the warm light there for a darker approach.

Shopfront or small business entry

Mounted above the entry, it records who comes and goes in colour after closing, and the built-in microphone captures sound with the picture. Cross line detection along the doorway raises an alert when the line is crossed.

Carport or back gate

Looking across a carport or a rear gate, its detect distance is rated at 43.4m, with a figure readable much closer in. The 2.8mm lens is wide rather than long, so mount it near the point that matters instead of at the far end of the block.

§ 06Setup

Installation & setup

01

What is in the box

The Uniview IPC3626LE-ADF28K-WP arrives as the camera itself with its fixed 2.8mm lens and cable tail. A bracket, a plug pack and a memory card are not included and are ordered to suit the job.

02

Brackets and mounts

Mount it using one of the listed accessories: the TR-JB03-I-IN junction box, TR-JB07/WM03-G-IN and TR-WM03-D-IN wall mounts, TR-UP06-IN pole mount, TR-A01-IN waterproof joint and the TR-SE24-IN, TR-SE24-A-IN or TR-CM24-IN pendant mounts.

03

Cabling and power

Run one network cable per camera, Cat5e or Cat6, and keep each run under 100 m to the switch or recorder. Power is PoE 802.3af on the same cable, or 12V DC to the Ø 5.5mm coaxial plug where there is no PoE.

04

Aiming it

The camera pans through 360°, tilts to 75° and rotates through 360° in its mount, so the picture can be squared up after the bracket is fixed. Point it across an approach rather than straight down it, and keep the warm light off a wall close to the lens.

05

Recording, recorder and screen

Fit a microSD card of up to 512GB for edge storage, or add the camera to a network video recorder. A recorder needs its own surveillance-rated hard drive and a monitor on its video output, and it belongs in a ventilated indoor spot near the router rather than in a sealed roof space. For phone viewing, turn on EZCloud under Setup on the camera, then scan the QR code in EZView under Devices, Add, Scan, and allow a couple of minutes for it to connect.

06

If it will not come up

Cross-test the network cable and the power supply with a camera known to be good. On a third-party recorder that shows the camera online but no picture, try turning off RTSP authentication, changing the compression to H.264, or turning off U-code.

07

When you need an electrician

Only for a new power point or for cabling inside a wall cavity, and that work is for a licensed electrician. The camera itself runs on PoE or low-voltage DC and needs no mains work.

§ 08Questions

Frequently asked about the IPC3626LE-ADF28K-WP

Q.01

Does the Uniview IPC3626LE-ADF28K-WP record in colour at night?

Yes. ColorHunter with Wise-ISP, a 1/1.8" sensor and an F1.0 lens hold colour down to 0.0003lux, and the warm light reaches 30m where there is no ambient light at all.
Q.02

Can the warm light be turned off?

Yes. The light has automatic and manual control, so it can be left to switch itself on or held off where a porch light already covers the scene.
Q.03

How far away can it identify someone?

Identification is rated at 4.3m, with recognition at 8.7m, observation at 17.4m and detection at 43.4m. Mount it close to the point where a face matters, such as a doorway.
Q.04

What raises an alert on the camera?

Cross line and intrusion detection based on human body detection, plus motion, ultra motion, tampering and audio detection, all running on the camera itself.
Q.05

Does it have a speaker or two-way audio?

No. There is a built-in microphone that records sound, but no speaker, no two-way audio and no alarm input or output.
Q.06

Will it work with a recorder from another brand?

It supports ONVIF Profile S, G and T, so a recorder using the same protocol can take it. Add it with the camera IP address, its port, usually 80, and its web login.
Q.07

Can it record without a recorder?

Yes. A microSD card of up to 512GB gives edge storage, and with a recorder ANR caches to that card through a network dropout and transfers the footage back afterwards.
Q.08

How is it powered?

PoE 802.3af on the network cable, or 12V DC to the Ø 5.5mm coaxial plug. It draws no more than 2.8W.
Q.09

Will it survive outside?

Yes. It is rated IP67, works from -30°C to 60°C at up to 95% non-condensing humidity, and has 4KV surge protection.

§ 10Bundles

Recommended packages

01

Add a PoE recorder or switch

The Uniview IPC3626LE-ADF28K-WP takes power and video over one cable using PoE 802.3af at no more than 2.8W. Check the recorder or switch supports 802.3af and has a spare port before ordering.

02

Add a microSD card

A card of up to 512GB gives the camera edge storage and lets ANR fill a gap if the network to the recorder drops. Order one per camera, because the slot takes a single card.

03

Add the right bracket

A soffit or ceiling takes the camera directly, but a wall, pole or pendant run needs a mount from the listed accessories, and an exposed cable joint needs a waterproof junction box or the TR-A01-IN waterproof joint. Choose it with the camera so the install is not held up.
