What the IPC-T361H-MU is

This HiLook 4-camera kit is built around the IPC-T361H-MU, a 6MP (3200 x 1800) AcuSense turret, and the 4-channel NVR-104MH-C/4P recorder with four built-in PoE ports. It suits a typical home or small shop that wants four clear, intelligent cameras on one easy recorder, with each camera running back on a single network cable.

AcuSense deep-learning detection classifies people and vehicles and filters out animals, moving foliage and rain, so the alerts you get are the ones that matter. Each camera sees up to 30 metres in the dark using dual infrared LEDs (black-and-white at night), records audio through a built-in microphone, and handles harsh backlight with 120dB WDR. You can pick a 2.8mm wide lens for open areas or a 4mm lens for narrower, longer views, in white or black, at checkout.

The NVR-104MH-C/4P plugs each camera in with one cable for power and data, outputs 4K over HDMI plus VGA, and accepts cameras up to 8MP so you can upgrade later. It has a single SATA bay; the kit ships without a hard drive, so add a surveillance-grade drive sized for the recording time you need. Everything is managed locally and remotely through the free HiLookVision app, and the IP67 metal cameras are made for Australian outdoor conditions.

Installation & setup

What's in the box

4 x HiLook turret cameras, 1 x HiLook NVR-104MH-C/4P 4CH PoE NVR, mounting screw packs and quick start guides. The NVR has a single SATA bay (surveillance-grade hard drive sold separately).

Cabling and power

Each camera runs on one Cat5e/6 cable to a PoE port on the NVR (up to about 100m), so there are no separate plug packs at the cameras. Mount each unit on a solid wall or eave with a clear view of the area.

Add a hard drive first

Fit a surveillance-grade hard drive into the NVR's SATA bay before recording - the kit ships without a drive. Choose the capacity for how many days of footage you want to keep.

Set up and view

In Australia these kits are commonly installed by a licensed security installer or a competent DIY owner: run a single Cat5e/6 cable from each camera to a PoE port on the recorder, mount the cameras, then run the on-screen wizard. Is a hard drive included with this kit?
No. The NVR has a single SATA bay but ships empty, so add a surveillance-grade hard drive sized for the recording days you want. You can choose a drive from the options above.

How far can the cameras see at night?
Each camera has dual infrared LEDs giving clear black-and-white video up to about 30 metres. There is no white light on this model, so night footage is monochrome, not full colour.

Can the cameras record sound?
Yes. Each IPC-T361H-MU has a built-in microphone for audio recording. They do not have a speaker, so there is no two-way talk on this kit.

Do I need separate power for each camera?

You have 30 days from the day you receive your order to request a change-of-mind return. Items must be unopened, factory-sealed and in resalable condition. A 15% restocking fee applies and return postage is at your cost. Faulty or incorrectly supplied items are different: we cover the return shipping and refund or replace at no charge.
