§ 01Overview

What the DS-2CD2T67G2H-LI is

Lens options: 2.8mm or 4mm focal length.

Note: Please indicate your choice in your order message.

The DS-2CD2T67G2H-LI is the reach specialist of the ColorVu family — the same 0.0005 lux F1.0 hybrid imaging as the turrets, with the supplement light pushed out to 60 metres, double their range.

The bullet body aims it: down a driveway, along a fence line, across a yard to the gate.

Smart Hybrid Light works at that distance in all three modes — white light for colour, infrared for discretion, or smart mode that holds IR until a person or vehicle is detected and captures the event in colour.

Classification runs on the camera, the all-metal housing (front cover, body and bracket) is IP67-rated, and MicroSD backup reaches 512GB on a standard 802.3af port at 9.5W.

Two honest notes: there's no microphone on this model — the -LI suffix is video-only, which long-range positions rarely miss — and remember that identification still runs to about 8 metres (2.8mm) or 10 metres (4mm); the 60 metres is how far the light and detection reach, not how far you can read a face.

What the DS-2CD2T67G2H-LI features actually look like

Representative illustrations of how each key feature performs in a real scene.

6MP Ultra HD

6MP captures around three times the detail of 1080p. Plenty of resolution to zoom into a face or number plate part-way down the driveway and still read it clearly.

60m IR Night Vision

Built-in infrared sees in total darkness up to around 60m, covering long driveways and large properties. Even well away from the house, people and vehicles remain clear in black-and-white.

Full Color Night Vision

Unlike plain black-and-white night vision, this camera can capture colour after dark — so you can pick out the actual colour of a car, a jacket or a bag, detail that grey infrared footage loses.

IP67 Weatherproof

Sealed against dust and water to IP67, built to keep working through rain, storms and harsh sun — suitable for fully outdoor mounting.

§ 04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the DS-2CD2T67G2H-LI

Reach the turrets can't

60 metres of light against the turrets' 30 — the back fence, the gate and the far side of the yard stop being dark territory.

Aims like a boundary camera should

The bullet body points down the line you're guarding — the geometry a turret needs careful angling to match.

Three night strategies at distance

White light to keep the driveway in colour, infrared to watch the fence invisibly, or smart mode to light up only what classification flags.

Light reach isn't ID reach

Honest numbers: detection and light run to 60 metres, identification to about 8–10 metres depending on lens. For long-range identification you need a longer lens or a closer mount — this camera tells you something's there and shows it in colour.

§ 05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Long driveways and gates

Light and detection to 60 metres covers approaches the turrets leave dark — in colour when you choose white or smart mode.

Fence lines and side boundaries

Mounted at the corner, the body aims straight down the run with line-crossing zones along it.

Acreage and rural yards

The distances between house, shed and gate suit the 60m reach — and classification keeps wildlife out of the alerts.

Warehouse walls and carparks

The visible bullet says 'covered' from a distance, the all-metal build shrugs off exposed mounting, and no mic keeps workplace audio consent simple.

Installation & setup

01

What's in the Box

1. Hikvision DS-2CD2T67G2H-LI Camera × 1 2. Drill Template and Screw Kit × 1 3. Quick Start Guide × 1

02

Installation Requirements

1. Power: any 802.3af PoE NVR port or switch (max 9.5W). A separate 12V DC adapter is only needed without PoE. 2. Network: a wired Ethernet run back to your NVR or switch — PoE carries power and video together on the same line. 3. Mounting: solid wall, ceiling or eave at 2.5–3 metres, with the base sealed against the surface — the housing is IP67-rated for exposed positions.

03

App Setup

1. Activate the camera with a strong password on first connection, then add it to the Hik-Connect app via QR code. 2. Enable push notifications so human and vehicle alerts reach your phone, and pick your lighting mode (white, infrared or smart). 3. Draw line crossing and intrusion zones tight to your own property through the camera's web interface, with target type set to human and vehicle.

§ 07Questions

Frequently asked about the DS-2CD2T67G2H-LI

Q.01

What does the 60-metre range actually cover?

That's how far the supplement light (white or infrared) and detection reach — double the ColorVu turrets. Identification still runs to about 8 metres on the 2.8mm lens or 10 metres on the 4mm: you'll see and classify activity at the gate, and identify faces near the camera.
Q.02

Can I choose infrared instead of the white light?

Yes — Smart Hybrid Light gives three modes: white light for 24/7 full-colour, infrared for discreet black-and-white night vision, or smart mode that holds infrared until a person or vehicle is detected, then switches the white light on and captures the event in colour.
Q.03

Will the white light annoy the neighbours?

It can if it points at them — a 30-metre white floodlight is part of how ColorVu makes colour at night. Aim the camera into your own property, use smart mode so the light only fires on real detections, or run infrared mode where any visible light is unwelcome.
Q.04

Which lens should I pick — 2.8mm or 4mm?

The 2.8mm covers 105.1° for wide runs close to the camera. The 4mm narrows to 90° and stretches identification to about 10 metres — usually the better match for the long, directional positions this bullet is bought for.
Q.05

Does this camera record audio?

No — the -LI variant has no microphone, which long-range boundary positions rarely miss and workplaces often prefer. If audio matters at the spot, the turret models carry mics.
Q.06

Bullet or turret — which should I pick?

Bullet for boundaries: the body aims down a line, the light reaches 60 metres, and it reads as 'covered' from the street. Turret for the house: discreet under eaves, mics available, and the SL versions add strobes and speakers. Most systems run both.
Q.07

How does the human and vehicle detection work?

Deep learning on the camera classifies what triggered an event — person, vehicle, or neither — so a possum, rain or moving branches don't page your phone. Line crossing, intrusion and region entry/exit zones each trigger only on the target types you choose.
Q.08

Which NVR do I need for this camera?

Any current Hikvision PoE NVR records it, and because the human and vehicle classification runs in the camera itself, smart filtering works on the M-series recorders we kit it with — the DS-7604NI-M1/4P and DS-7608NI-M2/8P.
Q.09

How many channels and what size hard drive do I need?

Count your cameras and leave room to grow: up to 4 suit a 4CH NVR, up to 8 an 8CH. Each 6MP camera writes roughly 40GB a day recording continuously, so a 4TB drive holds about 3 weeks from four cameras — and two months or more on motion-only recording.
Q.10

Will it work with a non-Hikvision NVR?

Yes — it is ONVIF conformant (Profile S, G and T). You keep video and motion events; the smoothest experience with smart filtering and the Hik-Connect app stays within the Hikvision ecosystem.
Q.11

Can I use this camera without an NVR?

You can — it takes a MicroSD card up to 512GB (not included) and streams to the Hik-Connect app. Most buyers still pair it with an NVR for longer retention, all cameras in one timeline and easier playback; treat the SD slot as backup.
Q.12

Is a Hikvision camera safe to use in Australia?

Hikvision equipment was removed from federal government sites in 2023 as a precaution, and there is no restriction on private or business use. This camera does not need a cloud account: it records to your NVR, works fully offline, and supports HTTPS, TLS and 802.1X authentication. If you want zero outbound traffic, put the system on an isolated network — it still records locally.
Q.13

Which 2367 ColorVu should I buy?

Six variants, one job — colour at night. The G3 is the deterrence flagship: dual mics, the loudest speaker, salt-air-rated housing, but it needs a PoE+ port. The G2H-LISU/SL gives strobe, warnings and two-way talk on standard PoE. The G2H-LIU is the quiet hybrid pick, the G2-LU the classic 24/7-colour model, the G2P sweeps 180° from one mount, and the T67 bullet pushes the light out to 60 metres.
Q.14

How does the 2367 ColorVu differ from the 2366 AcuSense range?

Same AI, different night strategy. The 2366 family lights the scene with invisible infrared — discreet, black-and-white at night. This 2367 family adds white light for full-colour night footage, with the hybrid models letting you switch between the two. If a camera that never visibly lights up matters more than night colour, the 2366 G2H-IU is the pick.
Q.15

What warranty coverage applies in Australia?

The camera includes a 3-year warranty covering defects. Installation labour is not covered.
