§ 01Overview

What the DS-2CD2367G2H-LISU/SL is

Lens options: 2.8mm or 4mm focal length.

Note: Please indicate your choice in your order message.

The DS-2CD2367G2H-LISU/SL is the deterrence model most buyers actually want from the ColorVu range: the strobe, the audible warnings and the two-way talk, on a standard 802.3af PoE port at 10.5W — no PoE+ planning, no switch upgrades.

The imaging is the full Smart Hybrid Light package: an F1.0 lens rated 0.0005 lux in colour, with three night modes — white light for 24/7 colour, infrared for discretion, or smart mode that holds IR until a person or vehicle is detected and captures the event in colour.

Cross a line or zone and the strobe fires with a warning through the speaker (lab-rated 95dB at 10cm); the built-in mic completes two-way talk through Hik-Connect, and alarm plus audio line in/out handle integration.

What the step up to the G3 buys: arrayed dual mics, a louder speaker, NEMA 4X salt-air rating and EIS — at the cost of a PoE+ port.

Identification runs to about 8 metres with the 2.8mm lens or 10 metres with the 4mm; 512GB MicroSD backup, metal IP67 housing.

What the DS-2CD2367G2H-LISU/SL features actually look like

Representative illustrations of how each key feature performs in a real scene.

6MP Ultra HD

6MP captures around three times the detail of 1080p. Plenty of resolution to zoom into a face or number plate part-way down the driveway and still read it clearly.

30m IR Night Vision

Built-in infrared lets the camera see in complete darkness up to around 30m — enough for a typical driveway, front yard or entrance. People and vehicles stay clear in black-and-white, brighter the closer they are.

Full Color Night Vision

Unlike plain black-and-white night vision, this camera can capture colour after dark — so you can pick out the actual colour of a car, a jacket or a bag, detail that grey infrared footage loses.

IP67 Weatherproof

Sealed against dust and water to IP67, built to keep working through rain, storms and harsh sun — suitable for fully outdoor mounting.

Two-Way Audio

Talk and listen in real time through the app — tell a courier where to leave a parcel, or speak to someone at the gate, whether you're home or away.

Illustrative — simulated for demonstration

§ 04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the DS-2CD2367G2H-LISU/SL

The deterrence pick without the power planning

Strobe, warnings and two-way talk on the 802.3af port you already have — the G3 asks for PoE+ to do its version of this job.

Three night strategies, switchable

White light for 24/7 colour, infrared for discretion, smart mode for both — change your mind from the app, not the ladder.

Colour when it counts

Smart mode's trick: discreet IR all night, then full-colour capture the moment a person steps in — the frame that identifies a jacket, not a grey shape.

When to spend more

Honest guidance: the G3 adds dual mics, a louder speaker and a salt-air-rated housing — worth it on the coast or where audio evidence matters; this model does the core job for less.

§ 05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Driveways and front approaches

Smart mode holds infrared until a person steps in, then lights them in colour and warns them off — evidence and intervention in one event.

Porch and parcel theft

A spoken warning at the letterbox beats reviewing footage of a parcel leaving — and two-way talk handles the courier conversation live.

Retrofits on existing NVRs

Standard PoE means it drops into the recorder you already own — no switch upgrades to add a deterrence corner.

Shopfronts after close

The strobe through the glass and a warning at the door buy time before anyone commits — check your state's rules before enabling audio recording.

Installation & setup

01

What's in the Box

1. Hikvision DS-2CD2367G2H-LISU/SL Camera × 1 2. Drill Template and Screw Kit × 1 3. Quick Start Guide × 1

02

Installation Requirements

1. Power: any 802.3af PoE NVR port or switch (max 10.5W). A separate 12V DC adapter is only needed without PoE. 2. Network: a wired Ethernet run back to your NVR or switch — PoE carries power and video together on the same line. 3. Mounting: solid wall, ceiling or eave at 2.5–3 metres, with the base sealed against the surface — the housing is IP67-rated for exposed positions.

03

App Setup

1. Activate the camera with a strong password on first connection, then add it to the Hik-Connect app via QR code. 2. Enable push notifications so human and vehicle alerts reach your phone, and pick your lighting mode (white, infrared or smart). 2b. Pick the warning tone or record your own message, and schedule strobe and audio so deterrence sleeps when you do. 3. Draw line crossing and intrusion zones tight to your own property through the camera's web interface, with target type set to human and vehicle.

§ 07Questions

Frequently asked about the DS-2CD2367G2H-LISU/SL

Q.01

How do the strobe and warning actually work?

When a person or vehicle crosses a line or zone you've drawn, the camera fires its strobe and plays an audible warning — a siren tone or a spoken message — through the built-in speaker (lab-rated 95dB at 10cm). Classification decides what triggers it, so headlights and animals don't set it off.
Q.02

Can I choose infrared instead of the white light?

Yes — Smart Hybrid Light gives three modes: white light for 24/7 full-colour, infrared for discreet black-and-white night vision, or smart mode that holds infrared until a person or vehicle is detected, then switches the white light on and captures the event in colour.
Q.03

Will the white light annoy the neighbours?

It can if it points at them — a 30-metre white floodlight is part of how ColorVu makes colour at night. Aim the camera into your own property, use smart mode so the light only fires on real detections, or run infrared mode where any visible light is unwelcome.
Q.04

How far can it see at night?

In colour, down to 0.0005 lux through the F1.0 lens with the white light reaching 30 metres; in infrared mode the range is the same 30 metres in black and white. Identification runs to about 8 metres (2.8mm) or 10 metres (4mm).
Q.05

Which lens should I pick — 2.8mm or 4mm?

The 2.8mm covers 108.8° and identifies faces to about 8 metres — right for porches, entries and close driveways. The 4mm narrows to 93.3° but stretches identification to 10 metres — the better pick for a front gate or a longer approach.
Q.06

What does the G3 add over this model?

Arrayed dual microphones, a noticeably louder speaker, NEMA 4X anti-corrosion housing and EIS stabilisation — at the cost of needing an 802.3at PoE+ port. The G3 earns that on coastal and audio-critical sites; for most homes this model is the sensible pick.
Q.07

How does the human and vehicle detection work?

Deep learning on the camera classifies what triggered an event — person, vehicle, or neither — so a possum, rain or moving branches don't page your phone. Line crossing, intrusion and region entry/exit zones each trigger only on the target types you choose.
Q.08

Can I talk through the camera from my phone?

Yes — the built-in microphone and speaker give genuine two-way talk through the Hik-Connect app: hear what's happening and speak to whoever is there, live.
Q.09

Which NVR do I need for this camera?

Any current Hikvision PoE NVR records it, and because the human and vehicle classification runs in the camera itself, smart filtering works on the M-series recorders we kit it with — the DS-7604NI-M1/4P and DS-7608NI-M2/8P.
Q.10

Will it work with a non-Hikvision NVR?

Yes — it is ONVIF conformant (Profile S, G and T). You keep video and motion events; the smoothest experience with smart filtering and the Hik-Connect app stays within the Hikvision ecosystem.
Q.11

Can I use this camera without an NVR?

You can — it takes a MicroSD card up to 512GB (not included) and streams to the Hik-Connect app. Most buyers still pair it with an NVR for longer retention, all cameras in one timeline and easier playback; treat the SD slot as backup.
Q.12

Is a Hikvision camera safe to use in Australia?

Hikvision equipment was removed from federal government sites in 2023 as a precaution, and there is no restriction on private or business use. This camera does not need a cloud account: it records to your NVR, works fully offline, and supports HTTPS, TLS and 802.1X authentication. If you want zero outbound traffic, put the system on an isolated network — it still records locally.
Q.13

Which 2367 ColorVu should I buy?

Six variants, one job — colour at night. The G3 is the deterrence flagship: dual mics, the loudest speaker, salt-air-rated housing, but it needs a PoE+ port. The G2H-LISU/SL gives strobe, warnings and two-way talk on standard PoE. The G2H-LIU is the quiet hybrid pick, the G2-LU the classic 24/7-colour model, the G2P sweeps 180° from one mount, and the T67 bullet pushes the light out to 60 metres.
Q.14

How does the 2367 ColorVu differ from the 2366 AcuSense range?

Same AI, different night strategy. The 2366 family lights the scene with invisible infrared — discreet, black-and-white at night. This 2367 family adds white light for full-colour night footage, with the hybrid models letting you switch between the two. If a camera that never visibly lights up matters more than night colour, the 2366 G2H-IU is the pick.
Q.15

What warranty coverage applies in Australia?

The camera includes a 3-year warranty covering defects. Installation labour is not covered.
