The Hikvision DS-PWA96-M-WB is a wireless control panel from the AX PRO range, the central hub that ties an entire wireless alarm system together.

It supports up to 96 wireless zones - including up to 48 PIRCAM camera detectors - organised into as many as 32 separate areas, so it scales from a single home up to a larger multi-area property.

For reliability it reports over three paths: dual-SIM 4G mobile data, Wi-Fi and a wired LAN connection, so a cut phone line or dropped internet does not leave the system unable to raise an alarm.

It communicates with its detectors and sirens on 433 MHz two-way wireless with encryption and frequency hopping, and you control everything from the Hik-Connect app, a keyfob, a keypad, or a Mifare tag on the panel's built-in tag reader.

It supports up to 48 tags, 48 keyfobs, 8 keypads, 6 wireless sirens and 4 repeaters, and is monitoring-ready with SIA-DC09 and Contact ID for an alarm receiving centre, including video verification on PIRCAM zones.

A built-in loudspeaker gives voice prompts, and an on-board lithium battery provides roughly 12 hours of backup if mains power fails (less in very cold conditions).

One DS-PWA96-M-WB control panel with power supply and mounting hardware. A data SIM, detectors, contacts, sirens and keypads are not included and are added to suit your system.

Installation requirements

Mount the panel centrally with mains power and a hardwired network link for the initial SIM activation, then add it to Hik-Connect. Enrol your detectors, contacts, sirens, keypads, keyfobs and tags into zones and areas, fit a data SIM for the mobile path, and walk-test every device before arming. Professional installation is recommended, especially where the system will be monitored.
