What the IPC-HDBW3549R1-ZAS-PV is

The Dahua DH-IPC-HDBW3549R1-ZAS-PV is a 5MP TiOC dome that brings together full-colour night vision, active deterrence and AI in one camera.

Smart dual illumination switches between infrared (up to 50m) and warm light (up to 40m): the IR runs at night, and when a target enters the scene the warm light turns on so the camera records full colour, then switches back to IR when the target leaves to limit light pollution.

A 5MP sensor with 120dB WDR holds detail in dim and high-contrast scenes.

As an active-deterrence camera it can respond to a perimeter event with a red-and-blue strobe and a built-in siren with selectable or custom voice messages, warning an intruder off rather than just recording.

A built-in dual microphone and speaker support two-way talk, and SMD 4.0 with perimeter protection classifies movement as human or vehicle so alerts and deterrence trigger on real targets rather than animals or weather.

A motorised 2.7-13.5mm lens lets you frame the scene from the recorder, and the IP67 and IK10 housing suits exposed and higher-risk positions.

It powers from 12V DC or PoE (802.3af).

Mount within deterrence range

Fix the dome to a wall or ceiling so the area you want to protect is within the warm-light and audio range, where the strobe and siren are most effective. The IK10 housing suits lower, exposed positions.

Power over PoE or 12V DC

Run a single PoE (802.3af) network cable from a switch or NVR, or provide a 12V DC supply where PoE is not available.
