01Overview

What the KIT-HDW2541EMP-8CAM-NVR4108-NOHDD is

Give each access route or activity area its own camera view. This 8-camera kit combines 8 white DH-IPC-HDW2541EMP-AS-ANZ 5MP turret cameras and one DHI-NVR4108HS-8P-AI/ANZ 8-channel PoE recorder. All supplied camera lenses are 2.8 mm.

HDW2541EMP (8 included): 5MP at up to 20 fps with a fixed2.8mm lens; Infrared illumination rated up to 30 m; SMD Plus and human/vehicle intrusion and tripwire classification; Built-in microphone, 120dB WDR and IP67 housing. Black-and-white imagery with infrared active in darkness; colour requires sufficient visible light.

The recorder provides 8 camera inputs, 8 built-in PoE ports, HDMI and VGA outputs, and one SATA drive bay. The supplied cameras use all 8 recorder channels and PoE ports. Plan a larger or additional recording system if more cameras are required. Its live display decoding capacity and AI processing limits are separate from the number of cameras it can record; choose suitable substreams for a multi-camera grid.

Connect one suitable Ethernet cable from each camera to a recorder PoE port. The specified maximum camera PoE loads total 40 W before cable losses. Allow for remaining power and bandwidth when adding cameras. No hard drive is included. Fit compatible surveillance SATA storage before relying on NVR recording. Size it for all 8 cameras, their bitrates, recording schedules and required retention; no fixed number of recording days is promised. Network cabling and optional mounting accessories are separate.

The 8 camera maxima total 40 W before cable losses. The recorder allows 78 W total PoE; any expansion also needs bitrate, channel and cable-loss checks.

04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the KIT-HDW2541EMP-8CAM-NVR4108-NOHDD

A defined camera plan

Plan 8 views around entrances, approaches and activity areas. Identify the detail required at each position before choosing mounting height and angle.

One recorder for the supplied views

Connect the 8 cameras to the recorder's built-in PoE ports. The supplied cameras use all 8 recorder channels and PoE ports. Plan a larger or additional recording system if more cameras are required.

Choose lighting deliberately

HDW2541EMP: Black-and-white imagery with infrared active in darkness; colour requires sufficient visible light.

Plan recording and playback

No hard drive is included. Fit compatible surveillance SATA storage before relying on NVR recording. Size it for all 8 cameras, their bitrates, recording schedules and required retention; no fixed number of recording days is promised. Set event zones and recording schedules, then play back sample recordings before relying on the installation.

05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Entrances and points of activity

Use the 8 cameras to give each entrance, driveway or activity area a separate view. Test detail at the target distance and check the image after dark.

Shops, offices and warehouses

Map the camera positions around entries, counters, loading access, stock areas or corridors. Keep views clear of shelving and ensure the lighting arrangement suits each camera.

Outdoor approaches

The camera housings are IP67-rated. Weatherproof exposed connections, avoid direct strong light in the lens and keep lenses clean. Install the NVR in a dry, ventilated indoor position.
