01Overview

What the KIT-2XIPC-T269H-MU-SL-4XIPC-T361H-MU-NVR-108MH-C-8P-NOHDD is

This HiLook mixed 6-camera kit is built for layered protection on the 8-channel NVR-108MH-C/8P. Two of the cameras are IPC-T269H-MU/SL all-in-one deterrence units that flash a red and blue strobe, sound an alarm and let you talk through two-way audio when AcuSense confirms a person or vehicle - ideal at a front gate or driveway where you want to warn someone off. The other four are IPC-T361H-MU 6MP turrets that quietly capture clear footage with a built-in microphone everywhere else.

All six cameras use AcuSense deep-learning AI to classify people and vehicles and ignore animals, rain and foliage, so alerts stay meaningful. The two T269H cameras add 24/7 full-colour, white-light night vision and live two-way talk; the four T361 turrets give dependable 30m black-and-white infrared coverage and audio context. 120dB WDR on every camera handles bright backlight at doorways and gates.

The 8-channel NVR-108MH-C/8P connects each camera on a single PoE cable, with six used and two spare for later. It outputs 4K over HDMI with independent VGA, supports cameras up to 8MP, and has one SATA bay - the kit ships without a hard drive, so add a surveillance-grade drive. Everything is managed in the free HiLookVision app, and the IP67 metal cameras suit Australian outdoor use.

6MP Ultra HD

6MP captures around three times the detail of 1080p. Plenty of resolution to zoom into a face or number plate part-way down the driveway and still read it clearly.

Full Color Night Vision

Unlike plain black-and-white night vision, this camera can capture colour after dark — so you can pick out the actual colour of a car, a jacket or a bag, detail that grey infrared footage loses.

False Alarm Reduction

Filtering helps separate real activity from harmless movement like rain, leaves or pets, so you get fewer pointless notifications and the alerts that matter stand out.

Strobe Light

On detecting activity, the camera can trigger a bright flashing strobe to make an intruder aware they've been spotted — a visible warning rather than silent recording.

04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the KIT-2XIPC-T269H-MU-SL-4XIPC-T361H-MU-NVR-108MH-C-8P-NOHDD

Deter and observe in one kit

Two T269H cameras warn intruders off with strobe, alarm and two-way audio, while four T361 turrets quietly capture detailed evidence elsewhere.

Active warnings where it counts

Place the deterrence cameras at the gate or driveway to flash, alarm and let you speak to anyone who should not be there.

Smart alerts on every camera

AcuSense classifies people and vehicles across all six cameras, so you are not buried in animal or weather alerts.

Grows with you

Six of eight PoE ports are used, leaving two spare to add cameras on a single cable each.

05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Homes wanting deterrence and detail

Put the T269H cameras at the front boundary and driveway, and the T361 turrets at the rear, sides and entries for evidence.

Shopfronts and small business

Deter loitering at the entrance with the T269H cameras while turrets cover the counter and stockroom quietly.

Yards and gates

Use active deterrence at the gate and standard turrets along the fence line, all on one recorder.

Mixed-risk sites

Apply deterrence where confrontation is likely and discreet detail capture where it is not.

06Setup

Installation & setup

  1. What's in the box

6 x HiLook turret cameras, 1 x HiLook NVR-108MH-C/8P 8CH PoE NVR, mounting screw packs and quick start guides. The NVR has a single SATA bay (surveillance-grade hard drive sold separately).

  2. Cabling and power

Each camera runs on one Cat5e/6 cable to a PoE port on the NVR (up to about 100m), so there are no separate plug packs at the cameras. Mount each unit on a solid wall or eave with a clear view of the area.

  3. Add a hard drive first

Fit a surveillance-grade hard drive into the NVR's SATA bay before recording - the kit ships without a drive. Choose the capacity for how many days of footage you want to keep.

  4. Set up and view

In Australia these kits are commonly installed by a licensed security installer or a competent DIY owner: run a single Cat5e/6 cable from each camera to a PoE port on the recorder, mount the cameras, then run the on-screen wizard. Set a strong password and Australian time zone, then add the system to the free HiLookVision app for live and recorded viewing on your phone.

08Questions

Frequently asked about the KIT-2XIPC-T269H-MU-SL-4XIPC-T361H-MU-NVR-108MH-C-8P-NOHDD

Q.01

What is the difference between the two camera types in this kit?
Two are IPC-T269H-MU/SL all-in-one cameras with a red/blue strobe, audio alarm and two-way audio for active deterrence. The other four are IPC-T361H-MU turrets that quietly record clear 6MP footage with a built-in microphone.
Q.02

Where should I put each camera?
Place the two T269H deterrence cameras at the front boundary, gate or driveway where you want to warn intruders off, and the four T361 turrets at the rear, sides and entries for detailed evidence.
Q.03

Which cameras have two-way audio?
Only the two T269H cameras have a microphone and speaker for two-way talk and spoken warnings. The four T361 turrets have a microphone for audio recording only.
Q.04

Do all six cameras record in colour at night?
The two T269H cameras give full-colour night vision with white light to about 30 metres. The four T361 turrets use infrared, so their night footage is black-and-white.
Q.05

Is a hard drive included?
No. The NVR has one SATA bay and ships empty, so add a surveillance-grade hard drive sized for six cameras.
Q.06

Can I add more cameras later?
Yes. Six of the eight PoE ports are used, leaving two spare for extra cameras on a single network cable each.
Q.07

Do the deterrence features work automatically?
Yes. When AcuSense confirms a person or vehicle, the T269 cameras flash the strobe and sound the alarm automatically, and you can also speak live through the app.
Q.08

Can I view everything on my phone?
Yes. The free HiLookVision app shows all six cameras for live and recorded viewing, with two-way talk on the T269 cameras, on iOS and Android.
