    • Power & data: a PoE 802.3af (Class 3) NVR or switch over one Ethernet cable, or a 12 V DC supply.
    • Recorder: a Hikvision NVR for full features; an AcuSense-capable NVR on current firmware to log and search human / vehicle events.
    • Storage: optional microSD up to 512 GB on the camera, or record to the NVR / NAS.
    • Mounting: wall, eave or ceiling; set the motorized lens remotely after mounting. IK10-rated, so suitable for higher-risk positions.

Is this a turret or a bullet, and is it a PTZ?
It is a motorized varifocal turret - a compact dome-style body. You set zoom and focus remotely, but it points one fixed direction, so it is not a PTZ. A turret sits close to the surface and resists glare and spiderwebs better than a bullet.

Is it PoE?
Yes. It runs on PoE 802.3af (Class 3, up to 12.5 W) over one Ethernet cable, or on 12 V DC. It uses standard 802.3af, so it works with most PoE switches and NVRs - unlike some varifocal bullets that need higher-power 802.3at.

Does it have a built-in microphone?
No. It provides audio line-in / line-out and alarm in/out terminals for an external microphone, speaker or alarm device; there is no microphone inside the camera.

No. Night vision is infrared Smart IR up to 40 m, so footage after dark is black and white. This model has no white-light ColorVu or strobe.

With the lens wide its DORI recognise distance is about 16 m; zoomed in it reaches about 42 m, so you can trade width for reach by adjusting the lens.

It takes a microSD card up to 512 GB for on-camera recording, and also records to a NAS with ANR to fill gaps during a network dropout.

Is it tough enough for exposed or high-risk spots?
Yes. It is rated IP67 against dust and water and IK10 against impact, and works from -30C to 60C, so it suits exposed perimeters and vandal-prone areas.

This is the turret version with 40 m IR and PoE 802.3af; the 2666 is the bullet with longer 60 m IR and PoE 802.3at.
