§ 01Overview

What the DS-2CD2367G2P-LSU/SL is

Lens: dual 2.8mm (spliced 180° view).

The DS-2CD2367G2P-LSU/SL is the one-camera answer to covering everything in front of a wall — in colour, at night.

Two 1/2.5" sensors splice into a single 3632 × 1632 panorama spanning 180° horizontally with no blind strip under the mount, and white light supplement to 30 metres keeps the whole half-circle in colour down to 0.0005 lux.

It also answers back: cross a line or zone and the camera fires a white light flash and an audible warning through its speaker (lab-rated 95dB at 10cm), with a built-in mic for two-way audio through Hik-Connect, plus alarm and audio line in/out for integration.

The honest trade-offs of a panorama: identification runs to about 4.5 metres — this is a close-quarters sweep camera, not a long-range one — and the spliced stream records at 20fps rather than 25.

White light is the only night mode: there's no infrared on this model, so plan for visible light when it's dark.

Standard 802.3af PoE at 12.5W max, metal IP67 housing.

What the DS-2CD2367G2P-LSU/SL features actually look like

Representative illustrations of how each key feature performs in a real scene.

6MP Ultra HD

6MP captures around three times the detail of 1080p. Plenty of resolution to zoom into a face or number plate part-way down the driveway and still read it clearly.

Full Color Night Vision

Unlike plain black-and-white night vision, this camera can capture colour after dark — so you can pick out the actual colour of a car, a jacket or a bag, detail that grey infrared footage loses.

IP67 Weatherproof

Sealed against dust and water to IP67, built to keep working through rain, storms and harsh sun — suitable for fully outdoor mounting.

Two-Way Audio

Talk and listen in real time through the app — tell a courier where to leave a parcel, or speak to someone at the gate, whether you're home or away.

§ 04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the DS-2CD2367G2P-LSU/SL

One camera where two used to go

180° from a single mount means one PoE run, one NVR channel and one timeline — and no seam where two cameras' views meet.

The whole frontage in colour

White light to 30 metres keeps the full half-circle in colour at night — clothing and vehicle colours readable across the entire sweep.

It sweeps and it speaks

A zone crossing anywhere in the panorama fires the light flash and a warning — and two-way audio handles the conversation that follows.

Sweep, don't reach

Honest fit: identification to about 4.5 metres and 20fps make this a close-quarters camera. For one approach at distance, the G3 turret or the 60m T67 bullet is the better tool.

§ 05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Verandahs and patios

One mount at the centre of the wall sees both corners at once, in colour — the spot two cameras or one compromise angle usually covers badly.

Shopfronts and forecourts

The whole frontage on one timeline: window, door and footpath approach, with a warning at the glass for whoever lingers after close.

Courtyards and carparks

A half-circle of colour coverage from one PoE run — and the white light doubles as area lighting when something moves.

Between-building gaps

Mounted in a breezeway or against a fence, it watches both directions at once where a normal lens forces a choice.

Installation & setup

01

What's in the Box

1. Hikvision DS-2CD2367G2P-LSU/SL Camera × 1 2. Drill Template and Screw Kit × 1 3. Quick Start Guide × 1

02

Installation Requirements

1. Power: any 802.3af PoE NVR port or switch (max 12.5W). A separate 12V DC adapter is only needed without PoE. 2. Network: a wired Ethernet run back to your NVR or switch — PoE carries power and video together on the same line. 3. Mounting: centre of the wall or eave you want swept, 2.5–3 metres up — the 180° view makes position matter more than aim.

03

App Setup

1. Activate the camera with a strong password, then add it to the Hik-Connect app via QR code. 2. Enable push notifications, and pick the warning tone or record your own message with schedules for the light flash and audio. 3. Draw line crossing and intrusion zones on the panorama, keeping footpaths and the neighbour's frontage out of them.

§ 07Questions

Frequently asked about the DS-2CD2367G2P-LSU/SL

Q.01

How does one camera cover 180 degrees?

Two sensors sit side by side and the camera splices their images into one seamless 3632 × 1632 panorama — a full half-circle with no blind strip along the wall it's mounted on, on a single NVR channel.
Q.02

How far can it identify someone?

About 4.5 metres — this is a close-quarters camera built to sweep the space in front of a wall, not to reach down a driveway. Detection runs to 45 metres and the white light to 30, so you'll see activity much further out than you can identify it.
Q.03

Why does it record at 20fps instead of 25?

Splicing two sensors into one panorama in real time caps the frame rate at 20fps. In practice motion stays smooth and evidence stays sharp — a number worth knowing, not a problem you'll see.
Q.04

Does it have infrared, or white light only?

White light only — colour at night is the point of this model, and in full darkness the light is on when the scene needs it. If invisible night vision matters at this spot, a hybrid 2367 model or the 2366 AcuSense family is the better fit.
Q.05

Will the white light annoy the neighbours?

It can if it points at them — a 30-metre white floodlight is part of how ColorVu makes colour at night. Aim the camera into your own property, use smart mode so the light only fires on real detections, or run infrared mode where any visible light is unwelcome.
Q.06

How do the light flash and warning work?

When a person or vehicle crosses a line or zone anywhere in the panorama, the camera flashes its white light and plays an audible warning — siren tone or spoken message — through the speaker (lab-rated 95dB at 10cm). Classification keeps animals and passing headlights from triggering it.
Q.07

How does it compare with the 8MP 2387 panoramic?

Same 180-degree sweep and deterrence, at a higher resolution. The 8MP 4K version records 5120 by 1440 for more detail across the panorama; this 6MP model is the value pick where 4K storage is not needed.
Q.08

How does the human and vehicle detection work?

Deep learning on the camera classifies what triggered an event — person, vehicle, or neither — so a possum, rain or moving branches don't page your phone. Line crossing, intrusion and region entry/exit zones each trigger only on the target types you choose.
Q.09

Can I talk through the camera from my phone?

Yes — the built-in microphone and speaker give two-way audio through the Hik-Connect app: hear what's happening across the frontage and speak to whoever is there, live.
Q.10

Which NVR do I need for this camera?

Any current Hikvision PoE NVR records it, and because the human and vehicle classification runs in the camera itself, smart filtering works on the M-series recorders we kit it with — the DS-7604NI-M1/4P and DS-7608NI-M2/8P.
Q.11

Will it work with a non-Hikvision NVR?

Yes — it is ONVIF conformant (Profile S, G and T). You keep video and motion events; the smoothest experience with smart filtering and the Hik-Connect app stays within the Hikvision ecosystem.
Q.12

Can I use this camera without an NVR?

You can — it takes a MicroSD card up to 512GB (not included) and streams to the Hik-Connect app. Most buyers still pair it with an NVR for longer retention, all cameras in one timeline and easier playback; treat the SD slot as backup.
Q.13

Is a Hikvision camera safe to use in Australia?

Hikvision equipment was removed from federal government sites in 2023 as a precaution, and there is no restriction on private or business use. This camera does not need a cloud account: it records to your NVR, works fully offline, and supports HTTPS, TLS and 802.1X authentication. If you want zero outbound traffic, put the system on an isolated network — it still records locally.
Q.14

Which 2367 ColorVu should I buy?

Six variants, one job — colour at night. The G3 is the deterrence flagship: dual mics, the loudest speaker, salt-air-rated housing, but it needs a PoE+ port. The G2H-LISU/SL gives strobe, warnings and two-way talk on standard PoE. The G2H-LIU is the quiet hybrid pick, the G2-LU the classic 24/7-colour model, the G2P sweeps 180° from one mount, and the T67 bullet pushes the light out to 60 metres.
Q.15

What warranty coverage applies in Australia?

The camera includes a 3-year warranty covering defects. Installation labour is not covered.

§ 09Bundles

Recommended packages

01

Pair with reach

A common layout: this panorama sweeping the frontage, with G3 turrets or the 60m T67 bullet on the driveway and long approaches — one NVR, consistent AI.

02

Build it into a system

Our ColorVu kits pair M-series NVRs with a 4TB drive — add this camera to a kit order for the wall that needs the full half-circle.

03

Quieter panorama needs?

If deterrence isn't wanted, run it with the strobe and audio scheduled off — the 180° colour coverage works the same.
