The Hikvision DS-2CD2T67G2P-LSU/SL is a 6MP 180-degree panoramic ColorVu camera that replaces a pair of fixed cameras at a corner or wall with one wide, full-colour view.

It uses two 2.8mm lenses and pixel-level image fusion to produce one continuous 180-degree image (3632 x 1632), so your NVR or app receives one unified stream rather than two channels to stitch.

ColorVu technology with an F1.0 aperture and a built-in white light gives full-colour footage 24 hours a day, including at night.

This model has no infrared illuminator; instead the white light lifts the scene to about 40 metres so it captures clothing and vehicle colour rather than black-and-white.

Deep-learning human and vehicle detection keeps alerts to real targets, and the LiveGuard strobe light and audio alarm can be linked to intrusion or line-crossing events for active deterrence.

Two-way audio through a built-in microphone and speaker lets you listen in and respond, and the strobe and siren can be scheduled or disabled so they do not disturb neighbours.

The camera records onto a microSD card up to 256GB and is IP67-rated for outdoor mounting.

It runs over PoE (802.3af) or 12V DC and works with Hikvision AcuSense NVRs and the Hik-Connect app.

Because the white light is part of how it sees colour, it suits positions where some always-on light is acceptable, such as a building corner, car park or wide forecourt.

What it is

A 6MP 180-degree panoramic dual-lens ColorVu camera with strobe, audio alarm and two-way audio. It is a white-light model with no infrared.

Power and cabling

Run one Cat5e/6 cable and power it over PoE (802.3af) from a PoE switch or NVR, or use 12V DC where PoE is not available.

Because colour at night relies on the white light, plan a position where some supplemental light is acceptable; schedule or disable the strobe and audio so they fire only on chosen events.

Setup

In Australia a network camera is usually fitted by a licensed security installer or a competent IT/cabling technician, who runs the Cat5e/6 cable, terminates the RJ45, mounts the camera and adds it to the NVR or app. Add it in Hik-Connect or your NVR, set human and vehicle zones and link the strobe and audio to intrusion or line-crossing events.
