Quick Pick, with a compatible Dahua AI NVR, helps operators find human and vehicle targets in recorded events.

Can I get colour footage at night instead of infrared?
No. This model uses infrared and switches to monochrome in darkness. For colour footage at night, choose a full-colour or TiOC model such as the HFW3449EP-AS-LED or HFW3549T1P-AS-PV, which use warm-light LEDs for colour imaging after dark.

Does the built-in microphone support two-way talk?
The built-in microphone records on-site audio one way. The -AS model also has audio in and out ports, so you can add an external speaker for two-way solutions, but the camera does not include a built-in speaker for talk on its own.

Both are supported. PoE (802.3af) carries power and data over a single cable and suits new installs, while 12V DC lets you retrofit into systems with existing power supplies. Power draw is low, around 7.2W at maximum on PoE.
