§ 01Overview

What the CC610GWF-2 is

The Bosch CC610GWF-2 is a Solution 6000 panel-and-keypad kit for homes and small businesses that want app access from the outset. It bundles the CC610PB control panel PCB with the CP737B keypad, whose built-in Wi-Fi supports MyAlarm interactive services and the iFob Control smartphone app.

The Australian-designed and manufactured system starts with 16 on-board zones and expands to 144, partitions into 8 areas, and holds 256 users with PIN, token, keyfob or fingerprint credentials. It also supports access control for up to 16 doors. The event log stores 1000 events, while up to 16 time zones can each have up to 4 time periods including days of the week and holidays.

The CP737B serves as the user interface and Wi-Fi connection point. It provides a 3.5" graphical display with alpha-numeric text prompting and programming, a 40bit MiFare smart card reader, lock and egress terminals, and a customisable installer banner. The keypad draws 110mA Max from +12VDC LAN power and connects through the proprietary RS485 LAN.

The kit does not include an enclosure, primary power source, stand-by battery, detectors or alarm outputs, so these must be added for a working installation. MyAlarm app control is a paid subscription service rather than a free Bosch service. The panel must be installed and commissioned by a qualified and licensed security installer.

This model suits a site where the entry keypad can remain within Wi-Fi reach of the router. Its expandable zones, outputs, areas and access-control capacity also allow the system to grow as the site changes.

§ 04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the CC610GWF-2

App access through the entry keypad

Bosch CC610GWF-2 uses the CP737B keypad’s built-in Wi-Fi for compatibility with MyAlarm interactive services and the iFob Control smartphone app. This places the network connection at the keypad used to operate the system.

Expand without replacing the core panel

The system starts with 16 zones and 5 outputs and can reach 144 zones and 37 outputs. Supported expansion modules allow more detection and control points to be added later.

Bring doors and alarms together

The panel supports access control for up to 16 doors. The CP737B adds a smart card reader plus dedicated lock and egress terminals for access-control applications.

Make everyday operation clearer

The CP737B’s 3.5" display provides alpha-numeric text prompting and programming. Illuminated keys, coloured status indicators and a programmable sounder help users understand system conditions.

Choose from multiple reporting methods

The panel supports CID, SIA, SMS, Email, Voice, Domestic Dialling, GSM-CID, GSM-SMS, Connetix IP and CSV-IP communications. Dual reporting and open or close reporting per user and area suit varied reporting requirements.

Protect communication across larger sites

Modules communicate over an RS485 LAN with anti-substitution technology and a proprietary data encryption algorithm. The maximum total LAN length is 1200m with 2 pair twisted shielded data cable (Belden 8723), and CM797 isolators are recommended between separate buildings.

§ 05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

House with the keypad near the router

Bosch CC610GWF-2 suits a house where the CP737B can sit at the entry within Wi-Fi reach of the router. Family members can use PIN or smart-card credentials, with MyAlarm services available by subscription.

Small business with individual users

The system can assign PIN, token, keyfob or fingerprint credentials to individual staff and divide a shop or office into separately managed areas. Open and close reporting can be configured per user and area.

Site expecting more zones or doors

The panel can begin with 16 on-board zones and expand using CM704B or CM705B zone expanders and CM710B relay output expanders. Keypads, readers and modules share the protected RS485 LAN.

§ 06Setup

Installation & setup

01

Check the supplied parts

Bosch CC610GWF-2 includes the CC610PB panel PCB and CP737B keypad, with a manual and mounting back plate supplied for the keypad. Complete the installation with an enclosure, primary power source, stand-by battery, detectors and alarm outputs.

02

Choose the enclosure and power source

Select the MW720B small enclosure or MW730B large enclosure with your installer after allowing space for the planned modules. The specified primary source is a 16-18V A.C 50-60Hz - 24VA External Power Adaptor or 220-240V A.C. to 18V A.C 50-60Hz - 24VA Internal Transformer, with a 12 VDC, 7.2AH sealed rechargeable battery as the secondary source. Combined accessory, LAN and output power must not exceed 1 Amp.

03

Configure the Wi-Fi keypad

Connect and program the CP737B through the panel’s proprietary RS485 LAN. On a DHCP network no IP address needs to be entered, while a network without DHCP requires the assigned IP address during setup.

04

Plan every cable run

Provide a dedicated cable run for each wired detector, plus the RS485 LAN route for keypads, readers and modules. Max. total LAN length using multi strand security cable = 300m; using 2 pair twisted shielded data cable (Belden 8723) = 1200m. A shorted loop is a tamper condition for every EOL configuration, and normally-open contacts require Inverted Seal for each zone in MENU 3-1-8.

05

Program and test the system

Installer mode is entered with the installer PIN followed by MENU, with 1234 used as the default installer PIN. Commissioning can include walk, horn speaker, siren, strobe, battery and communication tests.

06

Use the appropriate licensed trades

The panel must be installed by a qualified and licensed security installer. A licensed electrician is also required when the 220-240V A.C. to 18V A.C 50-60Hz - 24VA Internal Transformer option involves connection to mains wiring.
