The Bosch CM710B is the module for a Solution 6000 or Solution 16i owner who has run out of outputs: it adds four Form C relay outputs, rated 24VDC at 2A MAX, on a PCB that sits in the panel cabinet or in its own enclosure at the far end of the LAN.

01Overview
What the CM710B is
The Bosch CM710B is the answer when a Solution panel runs out of outputs. Each module carries four Form C relay outputs with contacts rated at 24VDC at 2A MAX, so roller doors, gates, lights and sirens can be switched from the panel's programming rather than from a separate controller.
It scales. A Solution 6000 accepts up to 8 of these modules for a total of 37 programmable outputs, and outputs 9 to 40 on that panel only exist once the expander boards are fitted; on a CC100 Solution 16i it expands the panel's own outputs the same way. Each module takes one module space in the cabinet and its own address, set on a three-way DIP switch.
It does not have to sit in the panel cabinet. The four-wire LAN connection lets it live remotely, up to 300m away on multi-stranded security cable or 1500m on two-pair twisted shielded data cable such as Belden 8723, with a LAN isolator recommended when the run passes between buildings. A separate tamper input lets it sit in its own secure enclosure without spending an intrusion input on the cabinet tamper, and a service code pad connection lets a technician plug a code pad in at the module.
Commissioning is visible at a glance: the status LED flashes while the module is communicating with the panel and stays steady on a communications failure. It draws 30mA in standby and 200mA at most with every relay and LED operated, from 10.5 to 14 V DC, and is rated for 0 to 55 °C indoors.
It is an output module only. It adds no zone inputs, so a site that also needs more detector inputs pairs it with the CM704B zone expander or the CM705PB universal expander (the CM705B in Bosch documents), and a dry contact rated beyond 24VDC at 2A needs an external relay.
