The Hikvision DS-2DE4A225IW-DE is a compact 2 MP outdoor PTZ built around a long 25x optical zoom (4.8 to 120 mm).

Where the 4x mini PTZ suits a single yard or corner, this 25x version reaches much further, so it can sit at one end of a large car park, sports field or industrial yard and still pull in a face or a number plate at the far side.

It pans a full 360 degrees continuously, tilts, and supports up to 300 presets with patrols and patterns so it can tour points of interest automatically.

The 2 MP sensor records smooth 1080p, and DarkFighter low-light technology keeps the picture usable as light fades; in darkness it switches to infrared up to 50 m, so the night image is black and white rather than colour.

120 dB Wide Dynamic Range, BLC, HLC and 3D digital noise reduction help in mixed and backlit scenes, and H.265+ compression keeps storage and bandwidth down even with a moving camera.

This is a metal mini PTZ rated IP66 for dust and water, powered by PoE+ (802.3at) or 12 VDC.

One DS-2DE4A225IW-DE PTZ camera with mounting hardware and a quick guide. The PoE+ switch or NVR, network cable, microSD card and any wall or pole bracket are supplied separately.
