The Hikvision DS-2CD2T87G2H-LISU/SL is an 8 MP bullet with Smart Hybrid Light, which lets you pick how the scene is lit at night.

Left on infrared it stays discreet and energy efficient; set to ColorVu it records full colour around the clock using the F1.0 aperture and white supplement light; or in smart mode it runs on infrared until a person or vehicle is detected and then turns on white light to capture colour detail at the moment it matters.

The supplement light reaches up to 60 m.

At 8 MP the sensor resolves number plates, faces and signage with room to digitally zoom into recorded footage, and 130 dB WDR keeps detail when a bright sky or headlight sits behind a shaded area.

AcuSense deep-learning analytics classify human and vehicle targets so your motion, line-crossing and intrusion rules ignore animals, rain and moving branches.

When a real target is detected the camera can flash a white strobe and play an audible warning, and the built-in microphone and speaker let you talk to people on site through the Hik-Connect app.

This is a metal bullet rated IP67 for Australian sun, dust and driving rain, with a 2.8 mm wide lens or a 4 mm lens for a tighter view.

Power and network it over one PoE cable (802.3af) or use 12 VDC, support a microSD card up to 512 GB on the edge, and record it to a Hikvision AcuSense NVR so events stay quick to search.

One DS-2CD2T87G2H-LISU/SL bullet camera with a mounting template, fixings and a quick guide. The PoE switch or NVR, network cable, microSD card and any junction box are supplied separately.

Installation requirements

Mount it on a wall or eave overlooking the area you want to cover and run one network cable back to a PoE switch or NVR, or use a 12 VDC supply. Choose the lighting mode, audio warning and AcuSense rules in the software, and add it to a Hikvision AcuSense NVR for recording and event search.
