What the DS-2CD2346G2-ISU/SL is

The Hikvision DS-2CD2346G2-ISU/SL is a 4 MP AcuSense turret designed to stop trouble rather than only film it.

The 1/3" sensor records 2688 x 1520 video with 120 dB WDR for high-contrast entrances and yards, and AcuSense deep-learning analytics classify human and vehicle targets so alarms fire on people and cars and ignore animals, rain and moving foliage.

Its headline feature is active deterrence.

When AcuSense detects a person or vehicle in a guarded area, the camera can flash its built-in white strobe light and play a customisable audible warning through its speaker, which is enough to turn many opportunist intruders away before anything happens.

Genuine two-way audio, using the built-in microphone and speaker, also lets you listen to a scene and speak through the camera live, so you can challenge someone in real time or play a recorded message.

At night the camera uses infrared up to 30 m, so its standard night image is black-and-white; the white light is a deterrence strobe rather than a constant ColorVu colour light.

The turret is rated IP67 against dust and rain, mounts on a wall or ceiling, and runs on a single PoE cable or 12 VDC.

Record it to a Hikvision AcuSense NVR so the human and vehicle events, audio and deterrence triggers stay searchable.

This is the single-lens turret, not the dual-lens panoramic -P version.

What's in the box

One DS-2CD2346G2-ISU/SL turret camera with a mounting template, fixings and a quick guide. The PoE switch or NVR, network cable, microSD card and any junction box are supplied separately.

Installation requirements

Mount it on a wall, eave or ceiling over the area to protect and run one network cable to a PoE switch or NVR, or wire 12 VDC. Set the AcuSense detection areas, record your audio warning, and configure the strobe and two-way audio in the software, then add it to a Hikvision AcuSense NVR for recording and event search.
