Installation & setup

Use a PoE+ or 24V DC source

Power from an 802.3at PoE+ switch or injector, or a 24V DC, 2.5A supply rated for the full 20W draw with IR on. A 15.4W 802.3af port will not run this camera reliably.

Mount on a pole, wall or pendant

At around 4.7kg it needs solid mounting hardware. Use a Dahua-compatible PTZ bracket and a junction box such as the PFA121 to keep connectors water-tight; confirm fit before installing.

Set tracking, presets and tours

Configure perimeter tripwire and intrusion rules with auto-tracking, and map presets, tours and scans for the site, allowing for blind spots created by structures or terrain.

Earth against surge
