This TP-Link VIGI kit pairs six VIGI C485 8MP (4K) full-colour turret cameras with an 8-channel VIGI PoE network video recorder and a pre-installed 2TB surveillance hard drive — a ready-to-record 4K system for a larger home or small business. Each camera records in true colour around the clock to about 30 metres, classifies people and vehicles to cut false alerts, and has a built-in microphone and speaker for two-way audio and active deterrence. This TP-Link VIGI 8MP kit is a ready-to-record 4K system for a larger home or a small-to-medium business that wants evidence-grade detail across several entry points.

It brings together six VIGI C485 8MP full-colour turret cameras, an 8-channel VIGI PoE recorder, and a 2TB surveillance-grade hard drive that comes pre-installed, so the system records the moment it is powered on with no extra parts to buy first.

At 8MP (3840 × 2160) the C485 cameras capture the fine detail that makes faces, clothing and number plates usable, and you can zoom into recorded 4K footage and still keep clarity.

They record in full colour 24/7 using a high-sensitivity sensor and white LEDs to about 30 metres, with 850 nm infrared on hand for a discreet view, also to 30 metres.

AI classification of people and vehicles keeps notifications meaningful, and a built-in microphone and speaker on each camera give you two-way audio and active deterrence — speak to a visitor or warn an intruder off live from your phone, with a white-light and audible alarm on a detected event.

The IP67 metal housings suit outdoor use, and the recorder powers all six cameras over single PoE cables with no separate injectors.

The 8-channel recorder runs the six included cameras and leaves two spare channels, so there is room to add a couple more VIGI cameras without changing the NVR.

And while the 2TB drive is a solid start, 4K across six cameras fills storage faster than 1080p — if you want a month or more of continuous footage, step up to a 6TB or 8TB surveillance drive.

The cameras work with the VIGI app, Security Manager or web, and also support ONVIF and RTSP for third-party recorders.

Six VIGI C485 8MP turret cameras with mounting accessories, one 8-channel VIGI NVR1008H recorder with a pre-installed 2TB hard drive, and guides. Network cables and a monitor are supplied separately.

Installation requirements

Mount the six cameras over the approaches you want, run one network cable from each to the NVR's PoE ports, and connect a monitor to set up. The 2TB drive is already fitted, so recording starts on power-up; check each view, the night mode and the AI rules before relying on it.
