Description

This is the TP-Link VIGI NK4P-T4425-2T official kit: four VIGI C445 4MP full-colour turret cameras, a 4-channel VIGI NVR1004H-4P PoE+ network video recorder and a pre-installed 2TB surveillance hard drive — a true plug-and-play system out of the box. Each camera records in full colour around the clock to about 30 metres down to 0.005 lux, classifies people and vehicles to cut false alerts, and has a built-in microphone and speaker for two-way audio and a flashing-light deterrent. The PoE+ NVR powers and connects all four cameras over a single cable each, and recording starts the moment it is powered on.

What the VIGI NK4P‑T4425‑2T is

This is the TP-Link VIGI NK4P-T4425-2T, an official ready-to-record kit for homes, small offices and retail shops that want straightforward, professional-grade surveillance without sourcing parts separately.

It pairs four VIGI C445 4MP full-colour turret cameras with a 4-channel VIGI NVR1004H-4P PoE+ recorder and a 2TB hard drive that comes pre-installed, so the system records the moment it is powered on.

Each C445 captures crisp 2688 × 1520 footage in full colour day and night.

A high-sensitivity sensor rated to 0.005 lux with built-in white LEDs holds colour to about 30 metres after dark, while 850 nm infrared is on hand for a discreet view, also to 30 metres.

AI classification of people and vehicles, plus smart events such as and keep notifications focused on real threats rather than animals, rain or moving foliage.

A built-in microphone and speaker on each camera give you and a flashing warning light lets you actively deter someone rather than just record them.

The IP67 metal housings handle outdoor weather across a -30°C to 60°C range, and H.265+ compression with 4K HDMI output balances efficient storage with sharp local playback.

Two practical notes.

The 2TB drive is included and pre-installed, which is a solid start for four 4MP cameras; for a month or more of continuous footage you can step up to a 6TB or 8TB surveillance drive (the recorder takes a single drive up to 10TB).

And the NVR1004H-4P shares a 53 W PoE+ budget across its four ports (up to 30 W per port), so the four included cameras are well within budget — check the draw of any third-party camera before adding it.

The cameras work with the VIGI app, Security Manager or web, and also support ONVIF and RTSP for third-party recorders.

Installation & setup

  1. What's in the box

    Four VIGI C445 4MP turret cameras (2.8 mm) with mounting accessories, one 4-channel VIGI NVR1004H-4P PoE+ recorder with a pre-installed 2TB hard drive, and guides. Network cables and a monitor are supplied separately.

  2. Installation requirements

    Mount the four cameras over the areas you want, run one network cable from each to the NVR's PoE+ ports, and connect a monitor to set up. The 2TB drive is already fitted, so recording starts on power-up; check each view, the night mode and the AI rules before relying on it.

Does this kit come with a hard drive?
Yes. The official NK4P-T4425-2T kit includes a 2TB surveillance-grade hard drive, pre-installed in the NVR, so the system records as soon as it is powered on. For longer retention across four cameras you can step up to a 6TB or 8TB surveillance drive, up to the recorder's 10TB single-drive limit.

Yes. The C445 cameras keep full colour in low light using built-in white LEDs to around 30 metres, and can switch to 850 nm infrared, also to 30 metres, for a discreet black-and-white view. Full-colour night footage keeps clothing and vehicle detail identifiable after dark.

How do the two-way audio and light deterrence work?
Each camera has a built-in microphone and speaker, so through the VIGI app you can listen and speak in real time. On a detected person or vehicle the camera can flash a warning light to deter the intruder while sending you a push notification.

Does the NVR power the cameras, or do I need injectors?
The NVR1004H-4P has four built-in PoE+ ports, so each camera is powered and connected over a single network cable straight to the recorder. There are no separate power supplies or PoE injectors to add for the four included cameras.

Will the cameras work with a non-VIGI recorder?
Yes. They support ONVIF and RTSP, so they can be added to a third-party NVR or software that supports ONVIF, including many Hikvision and Dahua recorders. The included VIGI NVR is recommended for the full smart-event and management features.
