Standard PoE (802.3af) or 12V DC. A common PoE switch or NVR port is enough; no PoE+ is required.

Mounting

Use a pendant or wall bracket and allow clearance for the dome to pan and tilt freely. The unit is about 0.5kg.

Cabling

Run one Cat5e/6 cable, maximum 100m, from the switch or NVR to the camera position.

Setup

In Australia a network camera is usually fitted by a licensed security installer or a competent IT/cabling technician, who runs the Cat5e/6 cable, terminates the RJ45, mounts the unit and adds it to the NVR or app. Add it in Hik-Connect or your NVR, then set preset positions and patrol routes.
